Do you ever think there will be an X-3?

The ending of X-2 was good as they could follow on if they chose to. Problem is, Spira would be boring and the same. I would love to play as Tidus again, he was just a very amusing character

There could be, like there could be with any FF especially if you're called FFVII.

But there really doesn't need to be another sequel. One good sequel is enough really.

True True, but I just think it'd be cool if someone more cool and creepy like Seymour could come back and Tidus could whoop him.

Btw, I have done everything with FFX. There's just nothing to do now

There were going to be more than one "Final Fantasy X-", reportedly, one about Rikku and one about Paine, the one we've got, being about Yuna.
I'm too lazy to check, but, in the begining of either FFX or FFX-2, there is a logo that says something like "Final Fantasy X Project" or something like that, to announce it.
I have heard that they pulled the plug on the other two, after the bad reception X-2 had, but, possibly, they quit before.
So, no, I don't see it happening.

I wouldn't mind a Final Fantasy X-3, as long as there are boy and girl main characters in it! I would like Tidus to be the main character, that would be pretty cool. Or they could have completely different characters. I doubt that it will ever happen though. I would prefer completely new Final Fantasy games.

Final Fantasy X-3. It's has been 3 years since our heroes stopped the spirit of Shuyin from activating Vegnagun... now there's a new trouble brewing.

Yuna has spent the last 6 months in rehab after suffering a mental breakdown and is now ready to face the world anew.

Rikku has become an estate agent and Paine is currently unemployed with young children and an alcohol addiction.

Brother is now working as a female impersonator and Shinra is making plans to open up an electricity company, using energy from the Farplane as a power source.

But all is not well in the land of Spira, the Hypello are mutating into monsters and someone needs to get to the cause of the trouble before all is lost!

Won't happen. The X series is dead and gone, and should be buried.

The story has been told, it ended on a high note, and everyone was happy. Any more is just overkill. Let it sleep.

I enjoyed both X games quite a bit, but enough is enough. Why beat a dead horse?

Well X and X-2 are over and done with. X was percieved well, unlike X-2 with mixed reviews. So no I don't want to see another installment in the series. Also I think they've learned by now that they just have to keep going with another FF and not rehash the same characters. So overall no X-3.

Agreed. If Final Fantasy 3 was to be created and released then Square-Enix's Reputation would be Destroyed. The Story of the game would never live up to any other Final Fantasy games, not even Final Fantasy X2. The game would be boring with the same places and faces and more than likely the same enemies and abilities as the Previous Final Fantasy X's.

Final Fantasy X3 would be known as "the game that ended Square-Enix.
If you have noticed, Square-Enix are in a Desperate need to please the Customers (Final Fantasy Fans) as a lot of them over in Japan complained about Final Fantasy XII.

Square-Enix are in a Desperate need to attract more Customers to buy the Final Fantasy games but not as many people do anymore and that is having an effect of profits and Income. They are releasing 3 new Final Fantasy XIII's which is a desperate need of Profits. It was a bad Business Strategy for Square-Enix and they will suffer in the long run.

Well if you read all of the above CAREFULLY, you will see that there is no way that Square-Enix would ever be Stupid enough to release a Final Fantasy X3 nor would they even think about it with after the bad hit with Final Fantasy X2. Even Square-Enix has a lot more common sence that that.

Well what do you think if my comments and opinions on this matter?

Square Enix are much smarter than that and are making games for PS3 and XBox360 and Wii so i dont even think they have enough time

If it would be anything like X-2 I certainly hope not.

That game dissapointed me terribley. My favourite final fantasy games were the PSX generation, VII, VIII & XI. Mainly because I grew up playing those. X was quite a good one as well but I think X-2 just was a bit too much.
