personally i have completed the sphere grid with wakka, riku and yuna and all my other have at least completed 6/8ths of the grid and i have defeated every boss including dark aeons (exept Yojimbo and penance)
and then on final fantacy 7 to 9 i have got one team complete 99's, or 100's, and have beaten every boss (including Ozma, Ruby Weapon, Emerald Weapon(with out underwater materia) and all the Weapons on 8.) I dont wont to seem like a show off but i probably do, so im sorry i just have to now how good you are

Good job! I can't say I truly mastered any FF's except
FF6. Never played FFX, FFIX, FFVIII, FFX2...
In FF7, I just went straight to beating it.

However, I was bored in FF6 and got all of my characters
to lvl99 except Gogo, Umaro & Gau.

I was very close to mastering VII, IX and X-2, but, I've grown tired of so much levelling, eventually, I give up.
I havent succesfully defeated VII's Weapons, gotten a couple of things from IX or finished the uhm, that place under Bevelle in X-2.

have you beaten the old guy then? if not just make sure you have a lot megaelixers and two dark nights all people mastered and then just go on for a very long time and he's down easily enough. make sure you use the dark nights specail attack and the third to heal when ever it is needed

Yes, I defeated him, but, I never completed all the levels, and never reached Trema.
I just get tired of so many floors!.

I'm pretty sure I did everything in FF6; got all the espers, levelled everyone up to level 99, got the paladin shield, etc. I'm also pretty sure I did everything in FF8, as well; levelled everyone up, went down in the ocean laboratory thing and beat that monster, got Squall's lionheart thing, etc.

I never did beat the Weapons in FF7 (I did beat Ultima Weapon, and got the gold chocobo and KotR) or beat the planet thing in FF9, however... maybe I should do that, sometime.

I am not "the best." Oh well.

Well, I almost get played FF VI clear. I lose to Kefkas second form. (Yes, I lose ). I didn't get all sude missions done because I didn't even find that Ancient Castle from sand.

I have play FF VII almost end. I didn't get Aeris back and all the characters to lvl 99 but I did beat Weapons. FF VII isn't so good that I would fully complete it.

FF I and II (DoS) I play throught or I played 1 throught. All in lvl 99 and their best weapons.

I play now FF VIII and try to get everything done.

Didn't bother with FFX really...not the Sphere Grid bit of it anyways. But I did beat Ultima and Omega Weapon and complete the game (yes, I know, all the push over stuff). Never could kill Nemesis though.

FF6, beat, learned all magics on five characters, seen Sabins limit break, beat DeathGuise, the Dragons, and completed all of the the other side quests. Only thing I didn't do? Like an idiot I believed Shadow when he said he could handle things on the floating island so I haven't completed the game with him in my party.

FFVII, level 99 on Cloud, Cid, Tifa, Red XIII, and Vincent and all final limit breaks and weapons. (even went so far as ot train up Aeris in one game so I could have a save of her Great Gospel). Mastered all materia, have two sets of Master materia, killed ultima, emerald, and ruby weapons, did all sidequests and have a ranch full of Gold chocbos for no reason at all.

FFVIII all final weapons, all limit breaks, did the Queen of card side quest and the Garden card quest. Have every GF, beat Ultima and Omega weapons, and completed all other side quests. Have Squall, Rinoa, and Zell to level 100...never used a spell for anything other than junction purposes. (not really an achivement but I'm proud of it)

FFIX done everything but get Steiners Excalibur or Excalibur II. But really, he's Steiner, who uses him? Oh yes, and I didn't have much to do with the card game or the Vivi jump rope challenge. Everything else from Ozma to the Book Master, to level S Treasure Hunter rank and the Stellazo and friendly monster side quest I've done. Oddly I never needed to max levels in that game. My highest is Zidane at level 67.

Beat FFtactics and got all the 'special' characters. Not much of an achivement there as I cheated like hell.

I'm currently mucking about with FFI and FF4, but both are much more difficult than the other FF games so I'm taking my time with them. I flat hate FF5.

calamity taco to beat emerald all you need is cloud all the others can die. give him double summon and have the best behomot summon gem attached to a heal one so whn you use it you get heal and attach magic counter to nights of the round. and youmust also have mime and then just use those to summons once and mime for the rest of the fight and you wont even need the underwater materia (pretty sweet ay)

from 6 to X-2, I managed to get them to a full level 99 with optimum equipment. In Tactics, I got all the jobs, including the Mime and Zodiac Summon, Cloud and his time-consuming limit break. Took me a full swing of a month to get that. Bout the secrets, after finishing the game for the 3rd time for example, I look at some guides in the net about their locationa nd how to acquire them.


If you still play FF7, I think this might be useful:


If you want to beat Emerald weapon, stock with Megalixirs and Megaphoenixes. Then, have a limit with your materia for he can deal a massive damage with you with his Air Ram Stomp attack [e.g. 9 materias=9999 damage.] Have the master all summon materia and the mime so that you can mime the KoTR and have your Limit break set on level 4 to some and 3 to some for they deal some combos.


For Ruby? I did have 2 of my party members dead so that it wont use the quicksand attack. Had a decent supply of MElixir and Mphoenix as well as the hero drink. It'll take quite some time but its worth it. And have a barrier/shell/reflect ready for his Ultima. And use some curative spells or dispel for his status ailments.

no need for magaelixars have nero bahamut attached to a heal materia and and knights of the round attached to counter and then have cloud do those summons once (in one go) then use mime for the rest of the battle and you wont even need the underwater materia (works like a charm every time)

and as far as ruby weapon goes i agree with you to will definatly die then just the best behamot summon connected to heal materia and then just wait and wait and wait and then he eventually dies
