who was Baddest FF VILLAIN???

heh im looking for opinions on what you guys would think is the coolest and baddest villain in the series of FF games there are so many, but i would definitly have to go with Kefka (he was just one sadistic clown son of bitch)

Yeah, I would probably have to say Kefka too. He was one cold hearted killer. He's also a little coward because he runs away a lot! He didn't care who he killed. He tended to laugh at cruel things too. Sephiroth wasn't much better, he killed innocent people. Poor Aeris.

I'd have to go with Kefka, too. He's the only Final Fantasy villian to actually accomplish his mission, that being world domination. He was tough to beat (the entire Final Battle includes the Statue he built), funny, vicious ... all-around great villian. Sephiroth would be a distant second, but he is overrated as hell. Kuja wasn't bad, either. (Well, none of 'em were bad, really, but Kuja was one of the betters.)

yes i really liked Kuja, his personality was so unique for its time espically being the main baddy and all, and now look what they have done they have made that pesky Seymour from 10 who seemed to remind me of Kuja alot in his personality..

Yes Kefka was who I had in mine. Who laughs while people are dying?
Definitly sadistic and powerful. FF VI was a very emotional game even though it wasn't graphic intensive.(By todays standard. Although it was amazing during its time.)

Goodness how can you make us choose? It'd have to be between Kefka and Sephiroth, that's a given.

I remember, the first time I played Final Fantasy VI, I hated that mother fucking Kefka. I wanted him to die; I was angry from his first act at Doma, to his act against the Espers, to his roll with the stones. Then I looked back, and realized "wow... I never hated any other villain as much as him." With Sephiroth, it was like "whatever." I think I actually had a stronger drive to kill Kuja than I did Sephiroth, actually.

I also have come to appreciate the humor in Kefka's character. Also his insanity. "I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE YOU!!" La la la...

I think that's why I a lot of people prefer Kefka to the other baddies in the series. He's so much more than just a cold-hearted killer. He's mentally deficient, which almost makes him more human than any other boss I've known. He's not just some super-powerful guy who likes to kill stuff (or in the cases of various other bosses, one who is under the influence of someone else).

He's insane. Mentally ill. Less than perfect.

I could go into some specifics as to why I like Kefka, but the only ones not listed yet are some major plot spoilers, so I won't even bother putting them inside the [spoil] tag. I'll skip them altogether. For those who know what I'm talking about, the end of the Floating Continent is a prime example. Or perhaps the Cultists' Tower in the WoR. I mean, COME ON, the man had his own cult of followers? What other boss can say that?

Kefka truley was unstable and insane... but i love that crazy laugh he'd always make as he would plot his nutty schemes... lol

I've already played FFIV-FFIX I think Kefka is the baddest. Because he did everything bad to make the world being what he wants. He doesn't care about life. What a dirty plan to poisoned the river. It doesn't make only Doma's people die, It also harm the life around that river too.

Sephiroth.

I've noticed a lot of people say he is over rated, i personally do not think him to be over rated in the slightest, i just find an abundance of idiots saying:

"OMG!!!111shift+1!!!1111 sephiroth is amazin he has got like a big sword!!!!!!!!!11!!!111!"

Also i think there is a far greater chance of a higher number of the idiots to which i refer have played FFVII and not FFVI, especially since FFVII is more readily available, better graphics (more accessable et cetera).



Anyway onto why Sephiroth is my favourite villain:

The first mention of Sephiroth: Shinra Building ~ The President of the biggest corporation on the planet is found dead, killed with a sword that "only Sephiroth can use", and the Shinra guards, doctors, technicians are all dead, there is blood everywhere and Jenova has been taken.

The second mention of Sephiroth: Kalm ~ During the flashback, Sephiroth is invincible to all attacks and kills everything with one hit pretty much.

The third mention of Sephiroth: The Marshes ~ The fearsome 30ft snake 'The Midgar Zolom' you have been warned about by Choco Bill, you find to have been killed and then impaled on a dead tree by Sephiroth.

These three instances made me think, "this guy is a fucking demon". The initial impact this character had on me coupled with his appearance: the sword, the hair, the cloak, quickly placed him atop my favourite villians list, and there he stays.
