Vii Or Viii?

ok im in a real jam... i started playing ff with VIII and ever scince i loved it
However i have recently started playing 7 alot<alot as in iv beaten it 4 times in the last month> and im in a personal tiff over weather i like 8 or 7 better can anyone help?

Maybe people can share their opinions on what game they think is better.

I think VIII is a tad underrated. I always (overall) liked VIII's soundtrack a bit better than VII's. And I liked how despite the whole "we're going to do something COMPLETELY different" attitude behind VIII I liked how it resembled past FFs like I and IV.

I think there both good. But I kind of like FFVII more.

I like Final Fantasy VIII more. It has a wonderful storyline and the characters are all unique and have completely different personalities. Squall was a great main character, his personality changed completely by the end of the game. He was cold hearted and he never spoke of his emotions at the beginning of the game, by the end he was completely the opposite. It was really nice how he transformed. I believe that VIII is an underrated game. The soundtrack for VIII was beautiful and I enjoyed it more than VII.

VII is a good game as well. I just haven't enjoyed it as much as VIII. I stopped playing the game completely a couple of years ago and haven't played it since. I was disappointed when Aeris died and just stopped playing it. I never got into it again since then. It has a nice soundtrack though and the characters are pretty cool. I'm not really a fan of Yuffie and Cait Sith though lol.

hmm, i mean in my opinion i liked FFVIII ALOT, being that the story was great and the soundtrack was just beyond amazing ( i thought it was better than any other FF game made)
the story in FFVII was just so amazing and i have to say that though the soundtrack was kinda lame in my opinion (yea a few songs were good but most were eh.. so so)
this being said FFVIII had the music, FFVII had the plot

my final answer is FFVII, i just loved that game so much

(and pretty much the first time final fantasy took the futuristic spin on things)

SORRY FOR THAT im new and still getting use to this sorry for straying off the subject its just that im stuck on ff8 and need some help


back on the subject; if i had to choose out of ff8 and ff7 it would have to be ff8 because the new cut sceens in this rock and i think the weapon sellection for each character is wiched you know forgin them out of pieces you find along the game, ff7 was also cool but i havent played it since i got ff8 and the weapon on that were over size lol (joking)

Id definately have to say Final Fantasy 7,though overall its soundtrack may be worse and the graphics may be worse, It has an amazing storyline, one that I can never forget. Plus it has one out of two of my favorite songs ever... Aeris' theme is sooo pretty. And even though I didnt like her dying and it completely screwed me over the first time I played, i didnt get too mad, I cried like a little baby. I just cant stand it. I like the magic system WAY better, and I like the weapons a whole lot better, I didnt like making them, and in the long run I just think 7 is a better far more emotional game.

ya i was sad when aris died but i never used her n e way i only used cloud yuffie NANAKI! vincent and cid lolall the oyther chars are annoying <tifa has a nice rak> and RED XIII IS THE BEST CHARECYOR tear...seto poor seto

FFVII is my all time favorite, but FFVIII is in close running. Eight had a feel to it like no other, and it involved features that made you fall in love with it. It was definitely unique.

FF9 was great too =)
