I like Final Fantasy because of a lot of reasons. The storylines in FF games are always unique and interesting. You don't get bored of them, they tend to be very addictive. The characters all have their unique looks and personalities. The battle systems are cool, you can have all the time to think about your actions or you can make all of your decisions as quick as you can in active mode! It has challenges which is always good.

Then there are the creatures in the game; Chocobos and Moogles in particular. They are great creatures! Chocobos are cool because you can ride them around and you don't run into any enemies. Moogles are cool just because they are cute and you can even have them in your party!

Final Fantasy games have a lot of good qualities! I could be here for ages listing them lol. The graphics for some of the games are amazing. They are also a lot of fun to play!

Personally one of the reasons i get so much pleasure from final fantasy games (and other rpg's for that matter) is because they are story driven.
The stories are (usually) interesting and varied with sometimes surprising twists to them (for instance Tidus' realisation that Yuna will die if she completes her quest).
And the characters, whilst not always believable, are involving and interesting. You get an emotional attachment to them whilst playing that is stronger than in any other type of game (who really felt for Sonic or Mario?!).
The graphics and particularly the sound and music add to the whole experience in ways that few other game genres have yet to capture.
And finally the gameplay; because rpgs don't rely on quick reflexes or hand/eye coordination in the way that other genres do, they are more relaxing to play and can be enjoyed for longer periods at a time.

In conclusion I would liken a good rpg to being like watching a good film with the added bonus of actually interacting with the story and influencing the outcome. Thumbs up!

I like the Final Fantasy games for many reasons. I enjoy the characters, the story, music, and gameplay. But overall I like the games because they're just fun. It's fun to go through a journey that makes plenty of hours and has several twists and turns. They're addictive games, and also the Chocobo's rock!

The Final Fantasy series has certain qualities to it that set it apart from a lot of the other RPG series out there. I like the fact that generally there is a new story and world for each Final Fantasy (except X-2 and XII, apparently...) What keeps these games related to one another are certain elements, such as the happy moogle and chocobo creatures, the monsters, Cid, and air ships (although there wasn't one in a few of 'em, right?) Therefore, each game is different from one another; has different qualities and different tones of brightness or darkness. Also, since there are generally no direct sequels to these games, we get full stories that end in the same game. Generally after an acceptable amount of time, too. There have been other RPG's that I've played in the past that I probably like better than any Final Fantasy (like maybe Chrono Trigger, Earthbound, or the Mario RPG's) but as far as an extended series goes, this one is probably the best. I've played the early Breath of Fire games and the early Dragon Quest games, and they don't compare to the early FF games (I don't know about the later installations, though...)

I also really enjoy Final Fantasy's music. Nobou Uematsu is probably the best music composer in the game industry today, as a whole. Only the person who composes the music for most Nintendo games might be better. In my opinion (but my opinion is better than yours, as we've well established in the past ) "Eyes On Me" and "Melodies of Life" are two incredible songs. Incredible.

Thirdly, the characters in this series, I generally enjoy greatly. In most Final Fantasies, the cast is diverse (except maybe in FF8) and the characters are generally fully realized and well-developed (except maybe in some of the earlier ones.)

Finally, there is a certain kind of magic that most Final Fantasy games have that I don't get as much with other RPG's. Maybe it's a mixture of all the aforementioned elements, but I have a greater appreciation for playing one of the games in this series than, say, in Breath of Fire, or Wild Arms. Final Fantasy is just special, or something. Anyhoo, that's that.

Well my first FF was FF VII and I got totally hooked on the awesome looking 3D graphics wich was new in a RPG at that time, also it was my first RPG and I never played any adventure/RPg's before because I like more action related games like shooters and racing games. But FF VII shoved me that a RPG could be loads of fun for many hours due to a great story and lots of different abilities.
The only "actionless" games I had played before was RTS and other strategy games, and I quickly learned that a RPG had lots of elements from a game like that, you need to think, plan ahead and maybe even make sacrifices for the rest of the party to survive.

Other stuff that makes FF fun is the new worlds, characters and all that, plus HEEY I get to fly an airship YAAAAAY!!!
Also the graphics are usually great and the music is quite good.

Even if I am a impatient racing genre fan I enjoy FF and I hope I always will.

Gee where do I start? I like it for so many reasons. The beautiful music score, the engrossing plot, interesting characters, superb battle moves, the suspense, the feeling of acheivement you get when you complete tasks and gain new things, etc. Guess you could say I'm an FF type person.

I like it because it is another world, an imaginary world in where only u can see it. I like it because of the fights and I <3 it because of the stories.
