Fave 2D FF

Whats your favourite 2D FF from the main series? Mine is FF4, because it has a great storyline and is challenging.

I'll go with FFVI, but FFIV is close. The graphics don't matter much to me, though, and those are my favorites out of all Final Fantasy games.

I`m still waiting to buy FF4 advance. I have it for the PS1, but I don`t like playing old school games on my PS2.

I love Final Fantasy VI! It has to be my favourite out of that list. IV is pretty awesome too but I really enjoyed playing FFVI (even though I haven't finished playing it yet). VI has some really cool and unique characters and the storyline was great.

I Am going with V cause of the job system, 1 was great as well but you couldnt change throughout the story and as for IIIj I havent had a chance to play it yet and I dont like playing emulated games.

I have been playing FFII very much nowadays. The good ol' FFI is still a very good game, but I have been liking FFII's storyline very much. Then there is FFIV and FFVI. I remember that FFVI was one of the earliest FF's I've gotten, so it still has some memories ;_;.

FF6, for me hands down.
FF6 is also my favourite over-all Final Fantasy of all time.
But there are so many things about that
game that I loved. The characters grew on me
and the music was very memorable. The graphics
weren't bad either, very colorful game.
FFIV advance looks good too, and I'd say that wud
be second on my list.

Well all of them were pretty good games, but considering FF IV is my fav all time, it is for this poll as well. I loved the storyline, the characters, the music, the Four Fiends were the best in this game. I loved the overall drama that was created in the game. It was fantastic.

FF VI was good but the SNES version that I remember playing had that Relm error in it, and that bothered me. There was also some graphical problems you noticed right away when you used those Robot laser attacks. It kind of upset me, but it was a good game overall. Just not as good as FF IV in my opinion.

No they're not. How many times do we have to tell people this? Doesn't everyone know by now?

FF III has never been released in America. FF VI was released as FF III on SNES, but it isn't actually the third game in the series. So VI and III are not the same games.

i completely understand what your talking about im just used to it being FF3 and they arent completely the same since they have some flaws in the japanese version.

They also have flaws in the American version.

That and the Japanese version is harder than the American one.

FFVI was a great game. But FFI was a good game too. I didn't play either of them before I played FFVII, so the graphics through me off alittle. But either way, the FFVI storyline was one of the best.
