TFF's Top Final Fantasy Titles

I compiled a list of the top-rated Final Fantasy titles, voted by our users over the last few months.

Remember this is opinionated... and I'm sure some people's trees will get shaked. But remember, this is the general consensus of many FF fans that have taken the time to vote for these games, so it is some-what accurate.

We can always guess what the top 3 titles are usually (FF7, 10, and 6)... which I agree were the 'stand-out' titles of the series. 6 opened the door to mainstream, 7 exploded the series to heavy commercialism, and 10 was a success as well. I may not concur with these top 3, but from a distant scope I can... Personally, my top 3 were IV, VI, and VII, but I'm old skool.

Anyways, it is fun to check out. I'll be adding the titles after the top 10 soon, so we will have a MASTER list. Please enjoy!

I know people don't really give damn, but here's my top 5:

1. Final Fantasy VII
2. Final Fantasy I
3. Final Fantasy IX
4. Final Fantasy X
5. Final Fantasy V

I know, I know, "why isn't FFVI on the list?" Well, simply because I haven't played a good enough version to see it as an actual premium FF. If anyone has any good suggestions about this, please share them with me, cuz I wanna feel what everyone thinks is so awesome about FFVI...

Thus I am new school. The Final Fantasy games before VII are cult RPGs. A cult video game is a video game that has had a limited sales run, but has a loyal fanbase and raving reviews in the press. A cult status merits a sequel just as well as a significant sales figure does.
