Favorite Weapon!!

Sephiroth's Masamune. That's why I liked him in the first place. Without that sword he's just angsty white haired dude.

My close second would be Seifer's gunblade Hyperion. I'da liked to rock a Lionheart limit break out with that sleek piece of sexy.

And Cloud's original Buster Sword deserves mention... classic.

It's been a while since I've played FFX, so I forgot the name of this sword..it's the clear blue sword that Tidus is carrying on the cd case. I always thought that sword was awesome looking.

Also, I thought the Atma Weapon in FFVI was a sweet sword.

The sword is called Brotherhood. It used to belong to Wakka's brother, who passed away. Yeah, the design of the sword was pretty neat, but I've seen better.

I've noticed that Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles had some very nice weapon designs. Especially the swords. I don't know if anyone here ever played or cleared FF:CC so I hope I'm not just blabberin' away...

i don't mean to spoil anything, but i thought cloud's sword in advent children was totally awesome, it was a big sword (not the buster sword) that could fit 7 other swords. That was one killer weapon there.

Yes, I know which one you mean. And I think there are 6 swords, not 7. Because when he's on the bike, he opens 6 slots. Anyway, I refer to it as the Neo Buster Sword. It resembles the old one very much. I think Cloud designed that one because the old one was pretty old. You can see cracks in it and all.

Also, the Neo Buster Sword is very handy in battle, seeing it is a compilation of multiple sword. What I mean to say is that he can draw a sword that he thinks is perfect for that particular battle. A long sword. A broad sword. A short sword etc.

Very nice sword indeed, a shame it was never released in an FF game though.

Cloud's Buster Sword ~ The original badass, so many memories of Cloud performing Braver with that bad boy.

Sephiroth's Masamune ~ Simple looking sword, but about 15ft long

Zidane's Ogre ~ I always remember using this more than any other sword from FFIX

Zidane's Ultima Weapon ~ More hardcore version of Cloud's.

Cloud's Ultima Weapon ~ Giant fucking sword

Orlandu's Excalibur ~ One of the greatest swords in FF Tactics, auto-haste on it comes in handy a lot.


I never liked the Gunblades much, Lionheart looked really small. I liked Squall's punisher/punishment best.

Well what i like the most is any sword! I love swords! I also like using black magic! And yes i cant be bothered to type anymore... haha

How could i forget Sephiroth's Masamune! That was a fantastic sword, and it reminds of the similar sword that Cloud gets in Rocket Town, the Yoshiyuki, it only has two slots, but it was still a beast of a weapon. Tidus' Caladbolg was pretty funky too, almost breaking in a way.

I think the Ragnarok was a pretty cool weapon on FFIX.
It alsow made me think about my FFVIII experiences ^^

Well I guess every real FF-er knows this but what the hey: The name of the 2nd best sword of Stiener (FFIX) is the name of the spaceship Ragnarok (FFVIII) you steal from the monsters in space. (The sword kinda has the same colors of the spaceship)
