Should they make a Final Fantasy Manga?

Who would like it if squaresoft made Mangas for the final fantasy series?

It'd be cool to see Final Fantasy made into a manga, seeing Cloud and Squall created anime style into a book or some other Final Fantasy. Yeah, I'd buy the manga, and waste my whole allowance. The action would look fugin awesome in my opinion, depends on who the artist is. Anyways, Kingdom Hearts, since it has some FF elements, its also made into a manga.

Not really. I prefer the FF series kept as games. If however SquareEnix were to create a manga series on something else, I might buy/download them.

Well if it helps any they have the animes out already. In fact they have 2 older movies and they have a more recent series. If you didnt know that then go ahead an search the site a bit and youll find some info on them. I know its not a manga persay but its better than nothing.

There's quite a few unofficial FF Mangas out there, but personally I don't think there should be an official FF Manga published by Squeenix.

Unless, of course, it's an entirely different storyline, but come on now, this is Squeenix, they'd probably pick up the storyline from an existing FF and **** it up.

And considering this refers to an overall Final Fantasy manga, not a Final Fantasy VII manga, shouldn't this go in General FF?

In my opinion, I think it would be pretty interesting to have a FF magna, as long as it does not mess up storyline from the actual game series, in terms of how some people view FF X-2 I would prefer that they make a whole new storyline with the same characters, or new characters. I would most def buy it though, again depending on what the storyline is.

You refer to the movies based upon Final Fantasy V and FF Unlimited? The movies were loosely based upon FFV, it was more of a "years later" story, where the crystals are again in danger. As for the anime series, a shame it wasn't completed.

Now manga... if the guys at Squeenix can do something that's not related to any of the Final Fantasies already done, it might work. Keep all the aspects of the game (jobs, summons, typical monsters, maybe the Crystals), but an entirely new storyline. Make it independent of all other stories.

Exactly what I was talking about. I liked the movies actually and the artwork was pretty cool as well. I also like the unlimited series and the artwork is even better. Both are amazing and should be seen by any FF fan. By the way why didnt they finish the series again? Was it the low viewer numbers or what?
