Lavitz, really. Most of the threads you have been starting are pointless, and are too short which end up as spammy. Some tips to follow:

1) Make more content
2) If you ask a question like that, post your view and opinions and your reasons why in the same post.....give an example of what you're looking for.
3) Correct section (which you did this time)
4) After so many run-ins with mods about this, you should really listen to them.
5) Don't create threads just for the sake of creating them...if you need to know the answer to a question, check out other threads first. Some of your Q's in the "how do I" section were already simply answered by other threads.

And so that my post isn't spam:

I don't believe there's ever ONE character to choose above the rest. Maybe per game, but I couldn't chose just one. Also I haven't played them all. My favorite male is probably Zidane or Squall, and my favorite female is Rinoa or Tifa.....just for how things happen to them and their personalities.

Orlandu was, is, and always will be the best character ever. Orlandu was the closest thing to an invincible character in all the Final Fantasies. With his Excalibur, there was no stoppin ghim.

Anyways, the greatest character ff character in my opinion is...well, I'm gonna split it between guys and girls....

Guys: Either Vivi or Sephiroth.
Why: Vivi was cool, and he was a character that I could relate with. I have questioned myself often. Now, on to Sephiroth...Sephiroth was just cool, especially on his mass destruction rampages. Plus, he had that awesome sword and those cool clothes.

Girls: Rikku, hands down(where did that saying originate anyway?)
Why: Rikku is also cool. Not just because of her looks, which were very good, but she her personality was cool. Yes, I know that lots of this may sound familar...anyways, she just seemed really friendly. Sort of has the same characteristics that I look for in a girl...

Well, there's my two cents...

Vivi, Zell, Selphie and Irvine, Dagger.

Just liked 'em.

A lot of them have pretty interesting stories, particuarly Vivi. Aww, he's so cute

Well Im also going to divide it into girls and boys.

BOYS:

Zell is my favorite male character of all time because he is the coolest mofo ever. I mean youve seen him kick ass as well as I have and its no understatement to say that his moves looked ****ing awesome. He also acts the coolest of all other characters and thats what I mostly like about him...his "I dont give **** im gonna kick your ass anyway" attitude.

Cloud is by far my second choice here since his background story was extremely awesome and very original. He also was able to dish out pain in massive amounst and he had an awesome and extremely memorable sword.

GIRLS:

Well Tifa wins this witha doubt in my mind. With the guy characters its harder to choose but Tifa is definitely the coolest female character ever. Why you ask? Well theres that something she has about her...a MASSIVE...quality if you will that makes her that much more attractive and likeable...but seriously I want to marry Tifa. Anyways she can also kick her portion of ass and shes hot while doing it. In my opinion she had the second best limit in FFVII and in fact it was similar to Zells so I guess thats the reason I like both of them. Then again she might actually be better since she has that special something that Zell definitely doesnt.

OVERALL:

Well Tifa won...sorry Zell but your still a good guy...but I guess thats the reason why you didnt win hehe.

I apologize for the small content, since when I typed that I was only a noob. I like Auron because overall in my opinion he can wield powerful swords/broadswords, and has some great Overdrives. When I first saw Anima, and all these monsters attacked, it was cool when he took out his hand out of his jacket. I can relate my dad to him since he is somewhat quiet.

Oh and to stick to the subject I also wanted to add that Tifas weapon were better than Zells since his only differed minutely and hers were much more diverse and varied. Oh and shes hot!

i gtta agree w/the kenji dude zell and tifa gotta be the best! i wish i could fight like zell, and tifa is so hot! i mean it, she is the most hot ps1 caracter ever!

Laguna Loire.

He was the only "funny"/goofy character who managed not to sink into endless levels JarJar Binks-esque retardness. And even though he was entertaining he was also pretty cool.
