SkIlLeT rOcKs, put more into your post(s) or you'll have a spam warning slapped upon you. No need to reply to this, send me a PM if you want a better explaination. Also, Mr E Man, dont postwhore, lol.
Onto the subject at hand though, gotta say that those damn Malboro's from just about every single Final Fantasy it has starred in, is extremely "annoying" in every possible sense. In the newer FF's in the 3D it wasnt so bad, but back in the sprite FF's it was horrid.. FFIV in particular, damn, that Breath threw about 7-8 status ailments onto you.

Propagators from FF8, and Malboro's... in any FF... they suck. ESP in ff8, but whatever. They just cause so many problems and theres a good chance you'll die if you come up against one at a low level... thats what training is for. XD...

I would definatly have to say the Shiva and Ifrit fights in FFVI.
I would always march into then over confident to find out my melee characters had an elemental sword equiped that would heal Ifrit or Shiva. Then I would also probably say Malboro's in FFVI. Just their Bad Breat technique annoyed me beyond end and I had never taken the time to give a character any status healing spells.

Omega weapon, tonberry from VIII, as well as the magic elements who cast all these stupid beserk, on you and my characters kill themselves if they arent immune...*%&* Also, in the omega ruins the (dont member the name) things taht are like egyptian type things or skeleton types which are half in a large block of rock or something. I cant remember the name, but those really bugged me, I usually ran when I fought those things.

In all the FFs that I've played, the only enemy that really stands out as being annoying is the Hermit Crab from FF6. I'm sure everyone remembers this guy. He's encountered in the WoR, when Celes is in the house in Tzen. I'd always go into the house, do what needs to be done, and then on the way out I'd encounter one of these guys and he'd do his damn Rock attack and petrify me. Game over. It never fails that I forget to equip a Jewel Ring before going in. Although I do tend to remember more, but those guys still rank up there on the annoying list.

Malboros from FFVIII are a bitch. I have level 100 and seeing hat i don't have all the status defenses, he hits at least 3 or four statuses, which is a pain the butt when you are trying to et those prized Malboro Tentacles. The thing is they have a decent amount of HP so in order to defeat them I need a limit break (Squall's Lion Heart, Rinoa's Wishing Star, and if i get lucky, a lot of time with Zell's limit Duel or Irvines limit)any one of those limits I mentioned use once to defeat them...after i remove their status ailments which sometimes I'm not fast enough.
Penance in FFX-2 was no peach..neither was it in FFX. It has loads of HP. In FFX-2 it takes like 10-11 trigger happy's + Catnip(US version though...I heard in some of the other versions Catnip has different effects) I put it on 2 girls because its too difficult with 1, and then have a reviver,(A white mage) and use "Pray" if the others get too low. I do also have this person use "Black magic" and "Bushido" Abilities(Yes I used a Bushido Lore). Man its hard.

Uhhh...Malboros from FFVIII...yep, real bastards are them. If it were not enough that the VIII's Bad Breath version was one of the worst of the series in terms of status inflicted, the bastards had this little tendency to do it at the start of the game.
I also heard about the FFVIII Tonberries. Well, sorry to say, but those buggers fall short to the IV, V, and especially the VI ones. At least you had chance to beat those bastards on the VII and VIII game: try beating them on the old games. While FFVI had the insta-death option, the old style of beating the meanies out simply did not worked on the Pugs. And, this game formally introduces the Master versions: harder than the original. I'd also say that the Mindflayers and Tiamats of FF Tactics are big bastards. Losing control of your units and receiving 999 damage around 2~3 times (because of the AoE height limitation) can really hurt. |

I would have to say Malboro from...hmm...near every Final Fantasy...and also, that ship thing in FFVII. You would fight it last in the arena and then it would eject you from battle, make you lose all your hard earned bp from that time fighting...
