Who's got 'em? Any that are totally random? I have a serious pet peeve when people put the roll of toilet paper back in the holder and have the end hanging on the back. It has to be on the FRONT, people!!! Seriously, I am OCD about this and will switch it when I see it. My guy has since given up and does it my way now. :ego: Speaking of bathroom pet peeves, I also hate when people just rest the roll of toilet paper on top of the holder. Um, like two more seconds and you could've put it back where it belongs. My OH has a pet peeve of water left along the sink countertop. He has a face cloth at the side of it which I mistakenly believed was for your face. Whod've thunk, right? No, apparently it is to wipe up the water splashed on the counters. Whoops. I am super bad for that. Seems like most of our pet peeves stem in the bathroom. Gives new meaning to the term 'anal retentive' much? ![]()

Then when I go in there to brush my teeth or whatever it's all musty inside. Not only does it feel like a girls locker room but it'll make my hair frizz >=( -People who drive to damn slow....especially when I get boxed in so I can't even switch lanes to get out. -Also, finding parking in the morning at school is a horrible experience to go through.

| What is it? It's it! | -Having a messy room. Seriously, if my room isn't a certain way (curtains and window open, bed made, clothes folded, books away, unused chargers rolled up and away, etc.) then I can't operate in there. At all. I freak out. Strangely, it's the only room I care about so much. -Bad grammar in graffiti. I correct it. I saw that someone had written "deuche" instead of "douche", so I let them know. You know, for next time. -Water on benchtops. Just like in the OP, I can't stand it when it's not wiped up. I'm sure there's a whole lot more, but I won't realise until I encounter them again. | ||||||||

| I don't like being bothered when I'm doing my chores. I have my headphones in, so I can't hear it when people come into the room, so when I do see them it makes me jump. I have to wash up every night, and it really annoys me when no one clears off their plates if they didn't finish dinner. The plates just get dumped on the side for me to deal with. When you get on a double-decker bus, and everyone is on the bottom level, and there is loads of seats upstairs. "So the feck what if you have to sit next to someone?! It's cramped and horrible down here!" I also get panicky when other people touch my Playstation controller without washing their hands first. I only have the one (well I have two, but the other one needs batteries), so I try and take care of it. I don't know where other peoples hands have been. I'm weird. | ||||||||||||

I mean, yeah, I like to talk and goof around with my work buddies too, but when there's work to be done, then we need to get it done. -People who don't cover thier mouths when sneezing or coughing, or chew with thier mouth open or smack when they eat. | Knockin Bitches Around... | -People who don't signal, come on it is not a difficult concept you push the f*cking thing right in front of you.. -People who walk slow in stores. This usually only pisses me off when I am in a hurry, and when it does and I try to pass them they always cut me off. I dont think they intentionally do it but who know's.. -People who don't clean up my weight room when they're done. I talked for two hours to my manager about putting one in, and people always come in and trash it. I argued so we could have one the least you assholes can do is straighten up and dont leave weight's in the floor. -When people use the bathroom in my apartment and dont fulsh. They invented the toilet with a convinent handle that you push and make the piss go down. It does not take a rocket scientist to figure it out... -People who text while driving. Personally I dont want to die in a car accident, get a f*cking bluetooth headset like the rest of the world and call them and dont text them, assholes... I'm sure I could think of many more pet peeves and things that piss me off but I am pooped and I am going to bed...

Inventory | I don't have too many nagging pet-peeves, but one that I feel the need to mention is spitting. Back when I went to a high school with an outdoor campus (no hallways), you had to watch your step if you didn't want to step on somebody's combination of saliva and snot. It wasn't too bad here, at least it was outdoors. Now at the other high school I went to, that was indoors, I saw spit on the carpet in the hallway. I was like, seriously? You really have to empty the contents of your mouth that badly that you can't at least go to to the bathroom, which was literally a few feet away from where I was at the time? Disgusting.

| Reproducing is fun. | I can say honestly that people in general are my pet peve...... I jest, but seriously I think that stupid people (not speaking of the mentally handicaped ones, but the ones with out common sence) irk me the most. People repeting their selves like they are telling a new story and it is the 5 time I have heard it. God how I hate that. People who call me on a regualr basis and still presume they have to say "hey, this is Mike" as if my caller ID doesn't work and like I don't recognize their voice. This goes back to common sence. People yo-yo foot while driving, god man pick a speed and stick with it! Mumblers, enough said. When someone steals an idea and claims it as their own. I know this happens all the time but it is still bull shit, just man up and give credit where credit is due. Yeah this list could get longer but I am done with the last one, don't want to hit Sins peve list. | ||||||||

Bad drivers piss me off, especially those who don't signal as previously stated. It's really not that difficult. Plus people who speed in school zones, that angers me. Spitting is disgusting and I hate it when people spit on the walkway or some where people need to walk. Do it in a garden or bit for goodness sakes, it's so nasty. Oh and people with no manners, you open a door for someone and expect a thank you and you don't receive it. People are just trying to be nice so at least thank them for doing that. A lot of people do say it but some don't and it bothers me!

You take one whiff and its nasty BO then you take another and its nasty overpowering too-much-cologne smell. Bleh! Have you ever noticed that people with bad BO never notice? I mean, they must not... otherwise they'd be showering more... right? How can anyone like to smell like that???

| Here's another pet peeve. Or at least something that is upsetting me a great deal, that ironically has to do with BO. I have risk of getting fired/forced to quit one of my jobs because of an alleged odor that I have. Mind you, this odor is from me doing my job and working up a sweat during my job. I use deodorant (a good kind, not cheapo 99 cent store kind), I wear a sweatband to prevent my profusely sweating pores from dripping down to my eyes. (I wear glasses and it's really annoying when it drips into the lens and blurs my vision. x_X) So, sometimes my supervisor would pull me aside and tell me she smells something (mostly after I had just come from outside after taking in the books from the outside drop bins). I sweat a lot because I was born this way. Not just because I'm out of shape. Even when I was 60 lbs lighter, I still sweat a lot. But anyway. I've been told to bring extra change of clothes ( I don't know what that would accomplish...) and even to wear wrist bands. ...Really? Even though my hands/wrists don't sweat at all? Sure, they do have a policy to maintain personal hygiene at all times, but come on. If I'm working up a sweat during work hours, just deal with it. >_>; I only work for three hours anyway. ...Speaking of which, there was this one time where I had JUST GOT THERE, and was told that I smelled of something. What the fuck? Are you serious? I just freaking got there, and had taken a nice, refreshing shower like 20 minutes prior! I'm at the point where the "next time" this happens, I'm gone! Allegedly I've also received complaints. I wouldn't know from who, because she won't tell me, but apparently the director (the super super supervisor I guess) knows of this now, and on Saturday, I was told to gtfo. And this was like half an hour after I got there. (Again, soon after I had just got back from outside. The air may have been cool, but the sun was awful bright outside.) This just pisses me off. I'm well aware that people with BO don't notice, because it's their own odor. It's like, okay. I can get fired for my alleged "problem", yet homeless people don't get kicked out for the same "problem", but at a much worse rate? What kinda crap is that? >_>; PS: I also use febreeze on my clothes that I wear that day. I swear, it's like I'm not allowed to sweat. Inventory | -When people don't put my disks back in their respective cases. Or just when people misplace my stuff in general, because I don't know where it is when I need it anymore. But mostly my disks, because they frequently get scratched that way, and don't work anymore. -When people spit gum out on the floor, and especially when I am the janitor for the day and have to get it off the floor. -I also don't like unflushed toilets. That's pretty gross. Or piss all over the seat. Or poop smeared on the seat/wall. Or a log that's just on the ground. They didn't even make it to the toilet. Wow. -Garbage all over the floor. Too lazy to throw it in the trash, eh? That's too much of an effort? -When someone unties my shoes. Especially if they pull the laces out all the way. -When someone messes up my hair. Pretty much, when someone is inconsiderate in general. It will usually annoys me. I just realized that my own spelling and grammatical errors really annoy me, too, when I spot them. I have to fix them immediately! Or I'll just look at them and sigh if I feel it's too late, heh. Anyhoo... Wuv, Yer Mom | ||||||||||||

| | ![]() Okay that's different. That seems kind of like discrimination, doesn't it? Can't you talk to your doctor? Excessive sweating is actually a physical disorder (not sure what else to call it?) and there's Human Rights that protects you from being discriminated against due to a physical impairment/disability. I don't mean you are disabled, just having a lack of insight on how to word this better. Sorry! I had a friend who had excessive sweating. There's deodorants that can be prescribed to you that will help, she ended up having to have botox done on her underarms. It helped with the sweating and she barely sweat after that. Out of total curiosity, what is your job? | ||||||||

| I work at a public library as a page. Basically all I do is shelve books and shelf-read, aka keep my area nice. Which, that part of the job is very easy and does not require strenuous activity. However, when I say I sweat a lot, I don't mean I sweat no matter what. It's only when I do strenuous things is when I have a large quantity, and it's not a crazy amount. Just.. more than normal. I don't even remember the last physical I had, but I don't have any insurance, so I technically don't have a doctor either. But anyway, our other duties are emptying the outside drop bins on the street corners with a large bin, and bringing them back in. That would kill me during the summer because it'd be freaking hot outside, haha. Even sometimes I run up and down the stairs (because the elevator reeks a lot) when I have to retrieve something sometimes. That activity builds up over the few hours, haha. Oh yeah, I remember the physical I had to get hired at the library. I didn't have any problems whatsoever. So I don't have a disorder or anything like that. Edit: Just asked a law type friend of mine, he said it's not illegal for them to fire me for something like this, unfortunately. I mean, all businesses have that section for "maintaining physical hygiene at all times" deal. So yeah. Last edited by Mistress Victoria; 11-17-2009 at 02:38 PM.. | ||||||||||||
