Clean freak or super slob?

I'm clean almost always about how I keep a room looking and where things go. I have 2 tiny screws I need to find every year when I put in my AC, but i can find them in 10 seconds when I need to. Since I'm asthmatic I started dusting my own room in 4th grade which just made me start to organize things and every since I do it without even thinking. The only time I let stuff get messy is when company is over for a day or more and I hate being rude and picking up in front of others while we're hanging out so I leave it to look however it goes until they leave and I go to do it again.

I'm pretty clean most of the time, unless i'm ill XD. I always clean the kitchen after i use it aswell, probably comes from when i worked in the restaurant >.>;. Although my desk does go through waves of being dirty and clean, sometimes its spotless and other times its unrecognizable.

I'm fairly messy. I mean, my bed is covered in clothes... not that I sleep in my bed anyway. It's cold since Andrew left so I'm leaving it til he comes back and we'll reheat it, lolz.

My desk is always messy, too. Other than that, I'm neat. And not dirty, either. I don't like food and smells left to their own accord. I just wash as I go along and it's all good.

Meh I don't clean often, but don't make a too big mess out of it, if it needs to be done I do it, but enough to make it proper, not supertidy or anything, just normal I guess.
Blargh! I hate cleaning..it is the #1 cause of aids in the world

I was a neat freak until the last year or so since I came back from my last deployment. I've kind of been a little sloppy on my cleaning habits and I've been to busy with work and I'm getting ready for my next deployment.

Someone actually had to ask this, didnt they? ...

Allthough people usually see me as a "smart" or neat freak, at school, at home.. O.O Omg, such a super slob. Whenever someone comes, I have to clean like hell otherwise... yeah, u'd get the point. People will think I'm unorganized and such and .. yeah, I'd really want to change that, just that I need everything out otherwise I tihnk I lost it.

Im kinda in the middle. Im not a clean freak but im not a slob. I like things to be tidy but im not that bothered if they arent neat. So ill clean every once in a while when the need arises. My girlfriend, who I live with, on the other hand rarely ever cleans. Her stuff is everywhere, clothes papers, whatever. So I usually end up cleaning them, but its no problem since she does most of the cooking^^

On Monday, when I was in Victoria, I visited my friend's house. He lives with two other people, also both males. Occasionally, one of their friends, a female, may occupy a mattress on the floor and never pays rent. The lot of them are potheads, I'm not sure whether that makes a difference to anything or not - but their house was ridiculously untidy. There was papers and plates and cups everywhere. Half-full drinks sitting on tables and windowsills. Empty bottles and cans. I saw a slice of congealing pizza sitting on the floor. There were bits of onion attached to their cat's tail. They don't have a bin, the rubbish just gets piled up outside. No washing line, their wet clothes just hang on a string inside and drip all over the floor. There's no light in their bathroom, so they've hooked up a heater/radio in there (it's quite the terrifying combo when you turn it on and someone's voice blasts out at you when you're trying to pee). There was what I'm hoping was water all over the bathroom floor. It get worse.....

It was the best thing ever.

I was a bit terrified to walk around with no shoes on though, truth be told.

I'm pretty much a clean freak, probably because my parents taught me to be one. I didn't really come from a wealthy family, so chores were like a game for us siblings; like seeing who gets to clean a certain room the fastest, and watering the plants while getting ourselves wet in the process. My dad was my usual play mate when I was a kid... and I still am ^^

But now in college, I only have a little dorm but it's pretty clean, if I do say so myself. It's already beginning to feel like a girl's room, to be honest. Probably because I get easily distracted by a little mess. I think it's a good habit, though. I don't have to worry about anything going missing or something.

I would have to say that I am not a slob. I am also not a clean freak. But I do take pride in the way I dress and the way I look. I like my living area to be clean also. I don't want to bring a fine female in my house and it be a dump.

Clutter is really my main failing. When things are actually dirty I usually get annoyed enough looking at it to clean up after a day or two. I also hate dusting though so I don't do that very often unless I'm in clean freak mode. My mom usually vacuums for me even though I'd get around to it myself if she didn't. I just don't do it often cause I hate lugging the beast of a vacuum up the stairs. Too much like work.

So while my room is usually more or less clean, I tend to have a lot of clutter hanging around. Like right now I have a pile of books, magazines, a CD, and some random little things on my coffee table. The table itself is clean, it just has a bunch of stuff on it. Same for my chair. My bed has about three baskets worth of clean clothes on it, which is unusual for me. Usually the only thing on my bed is maybe a towel or two and the cat.

My computer desk is the only area where things may get a little dirty. Maybe a couple of coffee mugs and some snack wrappers, but I usually clean all that up at least once a week. I'm pretty lazy so even if it annoys me I rarely do it right away. I always have cleaner on hand though, so it's not like I have actual dirt everywhere.

Of course, once every month or so I go into clean freak mode and go through my entire room just cleaning and organizing everything. I'm about due for one of those actually, as I need to get that laundry put away at some point.
