i think mancester united because we are solid at the back we have some brilliant midfielders in anderson who yet again showed his class nani and cristiano ronaldo not forgetting ginger goalscorer paul scholes and up front we have a fantastic partnership with wayne rooney and carlos tevez

I don't really know who will win this year. I have to say no for Liverpool & ManUn. Manchester doesn't play as well as they did last year & Liverpool...nope, unless they are really lucky.

I think that Inter has chances this year, as well as Barcelona. They both have a good ensemble and even if i don't like Barca's way of playing, i have to admit that they can do great- without Ronaldinho, he doesn't play at all during the last 2-3 years. Inter on the other hand, plays a more stable type of football, much better than Milan.

Milan might have scored 4 goals yesterday, but whatever, they can't be as lucky as last year, when they were about to be left out by AEK.

Moreover, i highly doubt that any of the other spanish teams will do well; Valencia lost to Rozeborg (...OMG...) playing in the muddy field once again & as for Real Madrid....no way. Yesterday, they couldn't even beat us, Olympiakos, without the help of that punk, the referee, who was constantly pushing the spaniards towards our goal & without the amazing luck Casillas had; he usually can't even catch babies' shoots & yesterday he was aufully lucky...


There haven't been that many games yet, but i'm between Inter & Barcelona to conquer the League this year. Note that i'm not a fan of either of those teams.

Umm...i think its safe to say Liverpool FC have clinched the champions league this year...i mean 1 point in 3 games...thats uber pwnage right there for anyone. Badass soccer team right there!

Honestly, i can't say that the winner this year is "obvious" as it seems that there are many great teams which are contenders for Europe's prestige. First off, let me just say that Celtic (Sorry Govinda's dad), Rangers, FC Porto, Olympiacos and Marseille aren't going anywhere despite causing uproars in the qualifying stage. I'm pretty sure the quarterfinals will include the favourite teams. In fact the closest upset last year was celtic almost winning against AC Milan in the Round of 16, but happily for AC Fans...such as my family and friends...we won...haha Govinda's dad...

That being said, LIVERPOOL FTW YO!

Haha, i was laughing my ass off when i saw their last result. All of my friends are liverpool fans and i love to rip on them whenever Rafa does something stupid... which has happened quite a lot this season XD.

As for the Champions League, if we're going off current form then Arsenal and Man Utd have the most points out of any team in the competition (9 pts). I'd like to see Arsenal win it just because i enjoy watching them play, and they definatly stand a good chance of winning this year. As usual there's 3-4 teams that stand out more than others, apart from Arsenal i'd put Barcelona, AC Milan and Man Utd in for it... but thats kind of stating the obvious haha. Real Madrid have a really strong squad, but i don't know what it is about them, they always seem to mess something up.

If i was going to pick 1 team, i'd have to play favourites and say Arsenal (even though i'm not an arsenal supporter ).

I would agree with you on those teams: ManU, Milan, and Barca. I would really like ManU to win it this year, but if they play like they did last year against Milan, then they haven't a hope in the world. Barca have a really good team this year and I wouldn't be surprised if they win UEFA and their league.

Real Madrid is just too old to win anything. Everyone on their team are all has-beens. If I'm not mistaken, the youngest player in their starting 11 is about 30 years old. My guess is that a couple of them might break a hip before season's end.

1) Manchester United lost to AC Milan not because they did not play well but because AC Milan outplayed them in every sense.

2) Real Madrid may be old, but with the likes of Nistelrooj and Sneijder scoring once a game, it might go to them easily.

I am not much of a football fan but lets face it the British teams are doing rubbish overall. I am a Celtic and Man U supporter and all I know that they aren't doing to well. Lets just put it this way: Celtic are going to lose the UEFA Champions Leage if they keep on the way that they are playing.

I'm not sure if you've looked at the group standings or not, but 3 out of the 4 English clubs that are in the Champions League are top of their group, with Ranger's 2nd in a group with Barcelona in it, only Liverpool and Celtic have failed to perform so far. Granted they're not in particularly difficult groups, but you can only beat what's put in front of you

think about this though arsenal was at home whilst we was away in a cold easern european country were not many teams win there never mind score four goals
