Do you have any habits?

Whether good or bad, this is the place to post them.

I have had more bad habits than good habits, and breaking them has been a headache. When I was younger I couldn’t stop clicking my jaw, and I wanted to stop because I was scared my Temporomandibular Joint would ruin.

Cleaning n’ organizing. If you were to come into my home you be amaze how clean and organize it is.

I bite my fingernails during tense situations.

I tend to turn on the teapot in case I might later want some tea(whether I really want some or not)

When fighting someone I tend out of habit to take fencing position.

Soon as I get up, I tend to put my dewrag on.

I meditate every evening.

I take showers and baths as soon as I return from anywhere no matter how long I've been gone.


That's about it.

Joint cracking is probably my worst.
I can crack most of the bones in my body including knuckles, neck, back, legs and toes.
I hate being able to do it, but I also need to or I get stiff.



I also bite my fingernails.

I always look behind me after I've sat down somewhere in public to check I've not left anything behind and I need to do this at least twice.

My curtains must always be at least 70% straight.

That's about it, I think.

Hmm. Probably when ever I go somewhere I have to check my handbag multiple times to check I havn't lost anything.

I have to clean my room every few days or it gets on my nerves and I also feel bad for my Hermit Crab. Haha.

Spending money I guess. But I always know where to draw the line.

Texting people is also really bad. I tend to do that a lot :/

I also check my bag when going out to check if everything is in place, I don't know why I do it but I know I just want to make sure everything is still there, especially my purse.

I bite my nails which is very common, I do it the most whenever I feel nervous or scared.

I bite the inside of my lip to the point where it bleeds, I do this a lot but mainly when I'm nervous about something. If I am really bored I will do it as well.

When I go out, I have to make sure I turn all the power switches off in my room, there's only two but I keep having to check whether I have done it or not.

I can't think of any others at the moment!

I'm ALWAYS doing that... better to be safe than sorry, right? I always need to check doors as well... Otherwise I'll worry myself to death over it.

It's more of an obsessive compulsive thing, I suppose, it just sucks because no matter how many times you check, sometimes you just NEED to check again.

Yeah, that's true. I sometimes worry if I have left something on when I go out and then keep thinking that the house is going to burn down because of it! I also worry about my birds, thinking they might not have food or water when we get home. I like to check their water and feed several times before I go! I am not that bad if we only go out for an hour or so but if it is all day then I will check things more than once!

Hah, I always worry about the house burning down, or us being broken into as well...
I worry very much for my hamster, too. I worry that when I go out, he might hurt himself or he'll run out of food and water... I check him everyday more than once before I go to college and I always tell him I love him and kiss his cage because I feel he might not think I love him if I don't...

So yeah, I guess that's another ole' habit.

Yeah I have to crack my knuckles or they go stiff....
But they crack loud so sometimes I can even use it to intimidate if I have too.
Oh and I sort of have a bit of an over-affinity for alcohol. Not that big a problem though as I'm always in control of myself. I can take a lot...
Oh and I love the internet too. I think it's TFF and my online buddies who're the reason for that....
I never used to go on so much before earlier last year...

I used to have other habits, but I'll leave it there. They're no longer practised.

Good Habits- Laugh at anyones joke even if its not funny (so they wont feel dumb), give good advice (sometimes), and find a solution to most problems.

Bad Habits- I can be rude without trying to be, always leave the light on at home, take long showers, and play around alot (not to where its annoying though)

Whenever I drive somewhere, I lock my car and immediately check the door to make sure it doesn't open. Just in case. Even before I got my new car I did that, but now it's to the point where if I forget to do it I'll get very anxious to the point where I will go back outside and double check. I suppose it's understandable though, cause my car is pretty sweet. Yes, I'm biased.

I make a cup of tea when I get home from work, thirsty or not. Luckily it doesn't keep me awake.

When I get dressed I have to put my clothes on in a particular order. Socks have to be last. Don't know why.

I have to wear my Griever necklace whenever I leave the house. I refuse to go anywhere without it, even though I rarely wear it when I'm actually at home.

I have a alot of habits, to be honest. I tend to set routines that eventually turn into habits. I should look on the bright side; at least it's not an addictive kind.

Cracking my knuckles/wrist/ellbows/back I do quite a lot. Also I got a habit to swing/play with items, at home I do with nunchaku's etc, but in class I sometimes do with pens/bottles/food/little jp girls >.>

Hmmm habits of mine...well.

I always bite my nails, crack my fingers, toes, ankles, neck and back on a regular basis. I also, you can take it as a good or bad thing, but I almost always have a dark sense of humor with things and in bad situations it works to make jokes...I mean at least sometimes. Some people dont like it but meh. I do have more habits but those are the main ones. Aside from that I just have more so a regiment with things.

Hmmmm.... Habits... eh heh heh... Whooo...

Well, my first one is that when I sit down I always end up curling one leg(at least) under me so I'm sitting on it... which makes it hurt later....^^; I also tend to bite my lip when I'm thinking and if I don't catch my self I tend to make it bleed. I have an awful habit of never drinking out of a cup after I've left a room.. probably cause of the fear of my cats messing around with it.. ^^;

I'm always happy a bubbly, so I tend to crack jokes... even in the most serious situations cause I can't stand for anything to be too serious. I talk with my hands, and when I'm really nervous or excited my voice has a tendancy to go really high-pitched... and I'm not talking regular just a little bit higher than normal... I'm talking about, "Now I sound like a squeaky toy" kind of high pitched... lol
