2,178  | My favourite mythical creature is the dropbear. This creature is from Australia and is said to be like a large koala with long razor sharp claws and fangs capable of making a certain sound, (usually told while a particular native bird makes it sound to freak out tourists) which drops out of trees onto unsuspecting victims below. While accounts vary, a lot of people believe it is based on either a koala falling out of a tree and freaking someone out, or a skeletal system that was found of an extinct ancestor to the koala. Whatever the case it's fun to scare people with.

3,101  | I also love Dragons, I have quite a few ornaments of them in my room that people have given to me over the last few years. I have always been a fan of them, they are a beautiful creature in my opinion. Faeries are also quite lovely, they are small and pretty. Mermaids, Unicorns and Phoenix's are all great mythical creatures. All that sort of stuff intrigues me, it would be great if those animals/creatures really existed though. 1,272 | I'll be another to say vampires. ..But really. Does it actually suprise anybody that that's my response? I love the things. I could probably give you a history of vampires in books, poetry, songs and art stretching back a couple of hundred years or so. They're amazing and beautiful. I do love dragons, too. I have several books on dragonology and much of my time is spent drawing them or reading about them.

2,060 | Ohhh mermaids/sirens. I like them. I won't pretend the Disney movie didn't influence my interest in them. I also like the pheonix and did some reading on them a few weeks ago. Such a neat idea. Ummm. Oh, huge fish in the ocean that we'll never see. Like... HUGE fish. Big enough to swallow a ship and be like, "that's what's up." A bit terrifying, but I still like the image. I had a dragon book when I was a kid... thought those were pretty swell too. Medusa? Shit, son. Pretty cool if you ask me. And while we're on mythology, I'll mention sprites. I like that idea. ....I like everything.

I'd include Odin aswell since he's just a badass, but he's a God rather than a Mythical Creature Since i live in England i have to say the Loch Ness Monster. So much stuff ciculates about this thing in England its hard not to be interested in it, even though i think it doesn't exist its a really cool story  Dragons aswell, i think most people will have these in their list of awesome mythological creatures... they're just awesome, nuff said.
