What's Important to You?

Hey all, Nowadays we own many things, like computers, t.v's, Video games, Gaming systems etc, but there are things that most people don't even think about, something that's always there. Which brings up the question... What's Important to You? Love? Friendship? Trust? Video Games? Expensive Cars? Winning the Powerball lottery? I've noticed that around where I'm at these kids that get in trouble, fall into the wrong crowd, commit crimes probarly never had a touch of love, a warm embrace of caring.




When I see these kind of stories on the news my heart cracks inside and I don't even know them... Maybe because I care, or I feel sorry for them. I lay down at night sometimes and ask myself what's important to me? I've been through alot in my life, good times, bad times, in between times. I know what's important to me, the people I love and care for, and my mother's warm embrace to comfort me when I feel down. Ask yourselves, what's important to you in your life? And why do you feel that it is important to you?

I'm proud of being a top-notch bowler. I own 4 bowling balls ranging anywhere from 12-14 pounds. I like being able to throw a bowling ball down the lane the same path with the same curve everytime. I know that alot of people in this world can't say that so it makes feel special.

I also try not to take for granted the love of a woman. A good woman is hard to find, especially one that has the same interests as me.

Ah bowling, I used to be good at that. Well I'm probably still not too bad, but I had to knock of the rust on my arm. But its pretty safe to say that bowling is not what is important to me, it is simply something relaxing to do, that I don't do anymore. And I do own a bowling ball as well, nice pretty 16 lbs blue ball along with shoes. I doubt many can use it since it is drilled for a lefty, guess that makes a pretty special even though I don't pay attention to it as much as I should.

I digress anyway, it might sound cliche but what is important to me is that I am happy. That is probably pretty vague, but as long as I am doing what I enjoy and having fun doing it then that is all that matters to me. I have been trying to live my life by that ideal since so many people do things that they don't like. And I don't want to be one of those people that hates getting up in the morning. So it is important to me that I can wake up in the morning and be eager to outside. Well I'm not so eager, but hey its 8 am in the morning, who's eager that early in the morning that is older than 12?

Either way I enjoy my job and the company that I have at work. I enjoy my hobbies (I would hope so) and I am having fun overall with what is happening. So far I am making what's important happen. Let's see if I can't keep it going.

The most important thing in my life would be school, video games and more because you have to get an education in order to do what you want to do for your career.

Video games are fun to play and they keep you very occupied. Also, hanging out with your friends would be important becasue you could talk about things and stuff.

Painting, sketching, pastel work, charcoal work, making things, being creative.

I'm an artist and designer, so all of these things are dear to me.

Music is also a very important aspect of my life. I listen to most genres of music, especially while I'm working on a new, tough piece. I listen to music on the way to college, whilst I am at my desk (for the mostpart).

What else? My little hamsters Jari and Sari, even though Sari is no longer with us...

I look after my little hamster as he is one of the most important things in the whole world to me. I understand him more than I understand 99.9% of people.


Friends... I have a few good friends, but you know who you are. Especially my best friend Xander who has been there for me through everything over the past six years. He has supported me through my depression and we help each other at every given oppoortunity. He is one of the most important people in my life.


My mother, even though many times we don't get along. Sometimes she makes me feel like the entire world is falling apart, but other times, she's trying to tape the world back to together, even if I don't tell her things that I wish I could.

My brother. My sister.


Andrew. He's my boyfriend and he does so much for me. Unfortunately, my life has been quite negative over the past few years, so I'm unable to show him what I am for the most part. Still, his support through my illness is endearing, even if I can't quite explain to him how I'm feeling all of the time.



So yeah... my hamsters, Andrew, Xander, art, music, family and my other close friends.

I also find kindness and helping others a very important part in my life. If I'm not helping somebody or at least trying when they need it, I end up feeling immensly guilty for not doing everything I could.

There are many important things to me, like for example I write books. Another one would be my education, I need this one for the future and what not. My job to, because I need it to help with my other job, being a chef. Currently, I am interested in my homecoming. The reason being is that I am running for Homecoming King. Odds are in favor of me, at least that is what they say.

There are a lot of things that are important to me, mainly people of course. My family and friends are extremely important to me and I do not know what I could do without them. There's someone on this forum who is extremely important to me and I think he'd know who I'm talking about when he reads this. Josh!

Things non-living would be my games.. what would I do without them? My hobbies such as beading and scrap booking, I wouldn't have much of a life at all without any of those.

My pets are also very, very important! Silvia, Tiko, Sparky, Sooty, Socks, Tiddles, Snoopy and Rocky are all very special to me, they can always make me happy whenever I'm feeling down.

Music is also important to me, I think it is important to a lot of people. Life would be really dull without it!

There's just too many things to list, I would be here forever if I did name them all. Those are the main things which are very, very important to me!

Well until not so long ago, my life seemed to revolve solely around some of my friends, alcohol (and other things...), fighting and gaming.

Nowadays the things most important to me are

1) Rach, the girl I love,
2) My beliefs (and following them),
3) My little animal friends I seem to keep meeting,
4) My friends - now a differing group to the previous ones who are still my mates, but I don't hang around with them as much. I still care greatly for all my online friends, half who come from TFF.
5) My music.

I still love my gaming, but it means a lot less to me, and I still crave a fight at times, but I no longer seek them, nor do I fight unless I feel I have too. It seems I've been changing greatly recently....

well as of now my what's imporatant to me is my family and my friends... they are so dear to me especially, you know everybody here on this earth wants to be loved right? i may have no riches to gain except for my favorite music and piano (i already cosidered them), but being with them makes me feel content of what i have.... i also thankful for my boyfriend whose always there for me, the reason why i'm getting matured now... i'm glad for him he's a great guy!!!

My son is the number one thing in this world I care about. He is everything to me, and I would do anything for him. Why? I carried him inside me, he has my dna running through his viens, and at one point I helped his tiny heart pump blood with my own. He was the miracle I got out of life, everything seems worthless compared to his love, to his smile, to his glowing face in the morning. An when he tells me he loves me, I know he really does love me. I don't have to look a certain way, I don't have to put on makeup, or know how to cook extragavant meals, I don't have to force him to care. It's an unconditional love you can find nowhere else.

Second is my job, I love being around people. I love helping out my boss, and it gives me a sense of accomplishment.

Third is my car. Without it I could take over the world, and make me an my sons life better. I love to drive, and to me it is the pinnacle of how I keep my life rolling.
