Okay, so this thread has two purposes, and I will admit that I made this thread MOSTLY to find out one thing... someone had left me bad reputation a while back saying "You have turned your thread into a chat room." Anonymously then just recently apologized for it, anonymously... I want to know who you are! I'm not mad or anything, lowl, it's just a mystery I must know, fo sho! I'm just so damn curious! Hahaha... lmfao! Okay, I'm SO done... but please, tell me who you are!

and secondly! I wanna know what everyone's job is... if you have a job . Just something random that I think could bring up interesting discussion, and maybe you have more in common with your fellow forum...ers... [[O_o]] than you thought.

I myself work for a company called ETS, which means Educational Testing Services. It is THE company that makes, ships, and recieves all of the SAT, PSAT, AP, NBPTS, etc tests that people all around the world take. I know, I feel important : D. I basically handle the shipment process, recieving process, and documentation of the NBPTS Art, Music, and WLOE branches of the test... wow, a mouthful... which makes no sense...

I'm a middle manager at MAERSK (big Danish shipping company among other things)
Mostly dealing with logistics and stuff like that. Not horribly exciting, but one has to keep the orgy going.

As of about a week and a half ago, I flip burgers and clean grills. In a normal atmosphere during the spring and summer months, I'm a horticulturist, but until I'm out of Uni I've decided not to take on a full time job utilizing my degrees...

I really took the job so I could work with a friend of mine, who is also my roommate. It's a monkey job and hardly pays enough for me to eat but atleast I get discounts on our crappy food.

Next spring I'll probably get a job for a local nursery. I worked in one last spring as senior manager, but it turned out to be more of a sales position than one suited to my area of expertise.


P.S.

I also do kind of chore work for the Uni in their greenhouses but it's all very small pay and equally small work.

I don't have a job currently because I am still studying to become a teacher aide. I have worked one day so far a while back and it was pretty hectic. I am already qualified for the job though and the other two courses I am doing are just going to help me to become better and do different things. I do a bit of work experience up at the school down the road which is usually alright. I am hoping they give me a job sometime soon but they probably won't. They usually hire someone else to do their work. It annoys me because I have given a lot of free hours down there in the past couple of years so it's unfair in my opinion but whatever. There are a ton of schools around where I could work.

I leech off the government for a living... it gives me a nice pay packet and I get the best hours ever.

I work at a casino. Well not really a casino as it is an internet cafe. The people only come here to play the slot games we have to try and win some money. Gambling isn't legal here so we have it set up as a sweepstakes program. That is how we are able to pay out cash and stay open without the po-pos shutting us down. I work the register and get people drinks and snacks. The pay is alright plus I get tips. I once took home $180 in a single night. Somebody hits a big jackpot they tip me nicely. When there are no customers, like right now, I just sit here on the computer browsing all the FF forums.

I work in...Primark. Yes, Primark. As of last Thursday.

For those not bound by British shores, Primark is a child labour giant. Whoops, did I say child labour? I mean, clothing giant. Basically, get cheap clothes, sell cheap clothes by the ****ing tonne. Get shares in Primark if your consience can handle it, it's going up every day.

Ladieswear is Dante's 7th Circle. All Primarks shops are giant, and the ladieswear floors are always huge, messy, and packed full. We're talking queues out the door. They opened a Primark in London and there was actually a stampede of hysterical women trampling one another to get in. I don't ****ing understand it.

So yeah. I serve hot, bothered and grumpy women in their hundreds with a collection of fellow students and depressed immigrants.

I work in dinershows with a martial arts act, getting to use my sports as a job is totally awesome. Allthough besides that I am still a fulltime student at university, so don't have time for fulltime job.

Hah, Govinda, the underwear in there isn't so bad... I got some cheap college clothes from there as well. It works for art class, when you're getting paint, charcoal and pastel all over you.

Right now, I'm not working... I'm doing an expensive and stressfull full-time art and design course which is actually a lot more stressing than it sounds.
By next year, I plan to be an artist, selling my works for half decent prices.

My apsiration is to be an artist, so that's what I'm aiming for.

Yeah, I had someone a while back who gave me bad rep with no comment, it was in intellectual discussion where I made an awesome and flawless argument and someone disagreed with it, that's no reason to give bad rep. I also got good rep for the same post, lol.

I too am currently leeching of the government and, wow I've just finished studying IT and am looking for a job, just like Winter here really. That's quite in common isn't it (Person who started this thread who's name I forgot and now can't be bothered checking again).

Lmfao, yes it is . I'm actually at work right now. I can't complain much about my position or the company- but I DO have something funny to say about it. Haha, just now I e-mailed Support Central, which is the main hub for FYI e-mails pertaining to flat tired, illegally parked vehicles, etc... because I'm not on the list, well I've been harassing them for months now to be added, and I guess they finally gave up and sent "We will add" back as a reply...

... jesus, it sounded SO much more funny in my head, SERIOUSLY... the second I went back and read it, I know for a fact people are going to be sitting there and anger will rise within their skull because I have just wasted a good portion of a minute, which may seem like a small part of your day, but you can NEVER get that back, no matter how hard you try. That small fragment of time in your life, it belongs to me. All your time is belong to me...

I am an office associate for Robbin Brother "Worlds Biggest Engagement Ring Store"...or at least that is what we say. Basicly I sit an a desk in the customer service center an play on the internet until I have to ring someone up, or transfer store merch into the compy. It is rather great. I take break when I want, An hour lunch when I want, and I make more than my ex, LOL. It is a proffessional atmoshpere an we are all close knit. We don't put up with drama or BS. It's a good way to get yourself fired anyways, LOL. Ah well. P.S. I love trying on all the cool rings an picking up huge diamonds...some costing more than my car!
