199   | Truth is, how can you not know about this? Even if you watch comedy central you'll eventually hear it on either the daily show or the colbert report. Honestly, I believe it to be a biased reaction reaching through from the very supiriors that are supposed to be in charged to keep the peace an see that "freedom of speech" is allowed. However, what happened was completely the opposite, and by all means unnessicary........had no justification what so ever.

634 | Yeah, that is kinda messed up..but.. He didnt get tasered until near the end, from what I can tell. And he was strangling and yelling, but, I dunno. If he was tased near the beginning, it's messed up, but first time near the end, it's way unjustified.

The cops told him several times to stop, and he refused. Thats his own dumbass fault for not listening to the officers... He didnt get tased just because he was bringing up controversial subject matter, he got juiced because he was an idiot who thought it was a good idea to start a conflict with police.. Watch it again and pay attention this time...

2,178 | Well Australia have water cannons. Stupid due to current drought conditions, but a lot easier on people's hearts than a Taser. As for the guy who got zapped, I still haven't seen more than a couple seconds on the news so I'll just say this. If he was just saying his piece or resisting arrest, he shouldn't have got tasered. If he was being violent or aggressive, I hope he did get thoroughly juiced. It'll teach him a lesson of wisdom. Just if he was being that way of course.

1,427 | The constitution doesn't enter into it. It's just plain unprecedented by any document of law that I'm aware of. It's absolutely outrageous! It's also slightly funny, but that's by the mark. I think it's even funnier that Kerry answered his question as they were toting the poor **** away. But no, I think this man has some serious redressances against the officers who took him in and especially those who assaulted him. Just like that one person has redressances against the officer who arrested her for oversalting his burger. (Which did happen!) It's all a lot of scary unnerving bullshit that needs to be eyed carefully. It's getting a little too close to home for comfort. (to combine two idioms)

583 | For once, I don't completely disagree with the sequence of events. The guy was a **** wad, and a well known prankster. But that's not the reason why I agree. I agree with the action because he was trying to get free of the grasp. I don't know if any of you ever had been in a situation where you are trying to restraint someone who's trying to get free. It's hella hard to do it without snapping off their arm, which, ofcourse, is unacceptable. They shouldv'e really just gotten a few more coppers on him and got the cuffs on. Tasering goes a little too far for my liking, but I can certainly empathise with the cop. Worse is the muslim student who got tasered in the UCLA library a while back.

199 | Usually I would agree with the people that say it was well justified. However, before they even went to escort him off the stage Kerry said, and I quote,"Wait,I'll answer his question." The police proceeded to take him, and he reluctantly followed them. Until he made the descision to try an get out of there grasp, and the answer to that was to restrain him. An I have been restrained...sometimes that is all you need. Tasering was just too hard for such a light crime. Yeah, he was being a ****. However, in America you are allowed to be a ****. They did take him out an arrest him. ON what charges I am not sure....point being...he was already restrained...there was no need to taser him when they could have easily cuffed him. If he were kicking an screaming maybe.
