Behind The Username..

Jenova33 somehow made me come up with the idea of making a thread where everyone should post recording of their own voice saying whatever, you know so we all find out what we sound like and stuff. =D

Now because TFF doesn't seem to enable the attachment of audio files, I thought of another way. Simply get on here and upload the recording, easy as pie really.

I personally think that this is a good idea and I hope that you guys can do the same and get some of your voices up. Well, in any case here is my voice for you people to hopefully check out.

The name of the thread and the topic are two completely different things.

For one; there's already a username thread here. Reasons For Your Username

And for two, there's already an audio thread somewhere too, although it's probably dead, so meh. =P

But then again, "Behind The Username" could mean both things anyway, so.. uhm.. yeah. >.>

I'll do an audio thing later.

Well either way it's no biggie. Jenii is new so it's not like it'd be knows there's a thread from god knows how long back. But I'm also assuming that behind the username meant behind the name as in the person...meaning the voice part.

Anywho yeah I'm not posting my voice right now since I have no clue where my mic is...maybe later.

I guess the thread title isn't exactly specific to the actual topic but I personally thought when I was doing the thread I thought of the title because I thought that it would be cool to know what people are like well in this case, sound like "behind the username" but anyway I have no problem changing the title if you want me to.

Jenii, I've heard your voice before, and I still refuse to understand anything that you say.

As for my voice... Nah. I'm not posting it here. I'm shy about my accent, which I've been told by multiple people that it's "too Russian-Eastern" to understand.

It's tinted with Russian and I'm often told a slight American hint. Other than that, I was born and raised in Britain, so I have some of that, too. No voice clip from me though. You'll have to go on imagining what my voice sounds like.

I think I have a recording or two of you on my PC somewhere, on one you I think you said "I hate you" to Luke and on the other you were singing some really dismal song. And yes, if I find them I'll stick them on here for you because you want everyone to hear you voice.

Anyway, this being my voice. And my dog XD. Because she's cute. She also tries to eat the camera a few times in this vid, I think. Also me complaining about the weather and rambling on a little. Not much interesting, eh? Lol. Anyway, for those who don't know, I'm Aussie. But I've been told I don't have a particularly strong accent. I don't know. You decide.

Hmm, I've been told I have quiet "aloof" sounding voice, but I sound ever so much more annoying, bland and nasal on a computer. When you download this make sure you turn your volume down because the recorder on my pc amps up the volume for some inexplicable reason.

BTW!:

I couldn't resist the Cruxshadows intro or the slight echo effect. Not because I was being pretentious or any such nonsense. I had just never fooled with the recorder before and was having a little fun with it. And didn't feel like recording it all over again without the effects.

Hello!

The intro is bloody weird, sounds a little like Gary Numan with the voice in that song. Your voice is slightly scary with the echo effect and such, it's groovy though! =D
