I never really liked french fries (believe it!) mostly because I have a bad memory of my sister, everyday dragging me to Dairy Queen to get those horrable things. Hash Browns, to me are a breath of fresh air and they have a lot less grease.

599 | i HATE hash browns. i dont know what it is but i have this strange this against potatoes. they just dont float my boat. If i eat chips they have to be very crunchy, like mire greece than potatoe. >.< i worked at maccas for 2 years and had great pleasure throwing out hash browns. bluur!

10,591    | Tater tots. It's like a wannabe hash brown with the finger-food goodness of fries. I find it to be a happy medium -- although tots are RIDICULOUSLY greasy when you get them at restaurants. Fortunately, they're not so bad when you're cooking them yourself. When I make them, they're nearly grease-free. Even the frozen ones you can snag from the store cook up fairly cleanly, depending on how you're making them. ...but, as a choice for the poll, I think I'd have to go with fries.

1,720 | Hash browns for me. They are the icing on the cake when it comes to a full-English breakfast, exept, more logically they are the potatoey goodness amongst the sausage and beans. Hash browns have that yummy potatoey taste in the battery stuff, baked together into a neat little package you can munch on in your hands. Absolutely gorgeous. Speaking of hash browns, potato dogs are a must-try. They are hotdog sausages, but instead of being in a bread roll, they are baked in hash brown. Absolute magic! As for fries, I like them. I really like home-made ones, though i'm not a fan of ones down the chippie. French fries are nice, though i'm not a fan of theMcDonalds kind. Fries always taste 100 times better with loads of cheese grated over them. Cheesy chips win hands down, though with subjects in their plain forms, its definatly the 'Browns for me.

962 | I'd have to go for the French Fries. I was never too keen on hash browns, even when i was young i'd eat them for the hell of it. To me french fries are quicker to eat and aren't dry like hash browns. I might be british but i don't like all british food. However one of my frenchs has got me into eating french fries and MCdonald mcflurry together.

177 | The reason I hate frech fries is because at my school they give them out and they are very greasy, usually rock hard, and taste horrable (a lot of my food preferances come from memories).

I haven't been such a big fan of hash browns since school camp in primary school.. ..They said they were hash browns, but most of them were hash blacks and hash greens. >.> Anyway, definitely french fries. They're just better. You can combine them with different things, too. Put them in your burger, put them in a sandwich, put them in ice-cream.. Yum.

2,814 | My mom makes some good hash browns. No joke. Other then that, I hate hash browns usually when I eat at restaurants or something. I prefer french fries though. They are salty and scrumptious and you can dip them in ketchup. McDonalds French Fries are really good. I think I like them because they are salty. I remember back in the day, they made them too salty. I hated that, especially when I had a canker sore one day. That really sucked.

3,101 | Both are actually pretty good. I have hash browns a lot sometimes. I usually buy them in packets in the frozen section of the supermarket. They are very tasty. French fries aka chips are also very good. I don't think I could really pick from the two because I like them both as much. Pretty much anything made with potatoes is good!  | ||||||||

2,012 | I kinda love both. I have fries alot more than hash browns. But when I do have them god they're delicious. For the most part I truly only love McDonalds hashbrowns. Deathly fattening but you can't put a price on cheap fast made food. Fries on the other hand I know what I like. I like most fries but feel that Wendy's make awful ones. So bleh no flavor. In the end I'd say it's a sad and close tie. | ||||||||
