DreamZ, the Sequel, Part Dues

I don't know how many threads there have been about dreams in the past. I do know that there have been many of them, but the last one anyone posted in hasn't been posted in in over two months, I don't think, so...

This is a new dream thread. A thread to talk about dreams, and possibly recurring themes in dreams that you have had, if you'd like something more specific to talk about. Personally, I've not been remembering too many dreams of late. The ones that have been sticking with me are fairly violent ones, however.

The first one, I was riding in the passenger side seat of my sister's car, driving into town, and there was this guy who looked like a door to door salesman from either the fourties, fifties, or sixties riding in front of me. He was wearing a hat and glasses, and had this really dorky smile on his face. He was also driving ridiculously under the speed limit, so I was leaning out the window, yelling and swearing at him to speed up. He did not, so I pulled out a gun, leaned out the door, and shot him in the head. He leaned forward and continued to drive somehow, so I shot him in the head again, and I guess he finally died (I didn't actually see him die in the dream.) Then my sister and I drove to an abandoned house to hide out, and I regretted what I had just done; particularly killing someone and involving my sister. Sirens could be heard off in the distance. And then I woke up.

The very same night, I had another dream after that one, in which I was at a mini mart, when these cops came in, pulled me away and started driving off somewhere. They were talking shit to me the entire time, and I thought they'd known about what I had done in the last dream. They took me to this Dairy Queen, told me to go in and order like a blizzard or something. They walked in, started harrassing the people inside as well, and then walked to the bathroom. My family came in, and I left with them, and the dream ended.

Then, I had another dream, the same night again, where my entire family was at this Mansion up on a hill, when these helicopters flew up to the place and told us all to come out. There were also S.W.A.T. cars surrounding the perimeter. Thinking they were after me for the first dream yet again, I was going to run out, guns blazing, but my brother stopped me and said "No, they're after me!" So instead, we both went out, guns blazing. I was yelling profanities again, trying to shoot as many cops as possible, but there were too many, and I started to move in slow motion. Then I woke up. I think I probably got shot to death.

a couple years later, there was this other dream where I was the brother in law to the guy who plays the brother in Everybody Loves Raymond, in some kind of movie that I think was supposed to be a comedy. We were at his "funeral," where an old lady mentioned it was the "third or fourth time that he'd thought he was dead," and that it was "really bad for his health." So I guess they were just going along with it until he realized he wasn't dead... or something...

Anyway, I was standing over his coffin with my wife (his sister) when he asked, "Is my wimpy brother in law there?" I was like "Yeah." And then he reached out and punched me in the face. Then he got out and proceeded to complain in a dull voice about how I was a wimp, or something, and I snapped and started beating the crap out of him, throwing cups of scalding hot coffee on his face, all the while him saying "This is not good for my health! This really isn't good for my health!" He then ended up laid out on a table, and I was going to pour the entirety of one of those big coffee dispenser things on his face. My wife tried to stop me, and I pushed her to the side. Then, I woke up, fairly shocked at how violent I was acting in the dream.

A third violent dream situation did not involve me at all, but characters from Archie's Sonic the Hedgehog. I had it just the other day, in fact. It was Sally, Antoine, and Bunny running around in some castle, killing soldiers that probably looked like the ones in Bevelle in FFX. Bunny was wearing this red, sleeveless, asian-esque dress, and seemed really pissed off, which is kind of not like her if you read the comics at all. She was also carrying this sword, and probably killed the most soldiers out of the three. Antoine was running around behind her with this huge bow with a metal string that he was using to slice people up with. He had this dull, bored expression on his face, which actually is kind of common with him. Sally was just running around behind the two, inputting something into Nicole the entire time.

The dream was very Kill Billish, as per blood sprayed out everywhere from the soldiers they were killing, and also kind of like Final Fantasy, I guess, since it was a three person party (not to mention the soldiers). It wasn't like the soldiers were slowing them down at all, either. I think it was also supposed to be like a "back up," because prior to it there was a normal Sonic scenario that I don't remember much of. It's my favorite one of the ones I mentioned, because it doesn't involve me specifically killing people. Heh. (I told my friend Joel about these dreams today, and he was like, "Well, I guess no one had better ever piss you off.") In any case, I decided to make a character based off the Bunny in this dream, and I drew a picture of her. Gonna attach it. Anyhoo...

So. Dreams, anyone?

Hah.

Alright, I'll post one of mine. It's one of my favourite dreams ever.

It starts off with my boyfriend and I exiting a large and extravargant hotel. Together, we are speaking, although I can't make out what is said. We are happy and all is well. A cab pulls up. I hold onto my boyfriends' hand, opening the cab door, but suddenly he's gone. I'm looking around for him.
He is not in my field of vision. Suddenyl, the sky cracks, raining and thunder, streaks of lighting.
Suddenly, on the left side of the road, a giant twenty foot Pyramid Head stands, holding a giant pickaxe.

Not thinking, I get into the cab and start driving as fast as I can. Suddenly, a ghost appears in the passenger seat and I'm driving fast to escape Giant Pyramid Head. He's gaining on me, swinging the pickaxe at the ground, trying to crush the cab. We're able to escape him, but then a man who looks like Walter Sullivan in a safari suit starts chasing me and this ghost. I realise the ghost is my friend.

We get inside this boat house and start running through the reception, into rooms. The ghost runs off the other way. I'm in this room, alone, climbing up a ladder. I feel something grab my ankle, but I manage to escape the grip.

And then I'm smashing the door apart.

I'm out in a corridor. Look around, the ghost is there, I follow him into a room, and there are pits of spikes like from a Tomb Raider level. Ghost tells me he cannot join me further on in my quest to find my boyfriend.

...

The dream ends, and I awaken.

Totally predictable that it'd be your favorite

Amusing though, esp the giant PH ... haha.

I've had a few dreams lately, mostly themeatic and dealing with some kind of violent (my dreams ALWAYS do). First one was kind of recurring with vampires .... except it kind of stopped at the first dawn -- at which point all the 'vampires' reverted back to normal. SO it was kind of like a werewolf thing. Either way my entire family had to fight through. And somehow had vials to last a month, where a use of it would prevent people in the area from changing into vampires at night. I think I also remember something about shooting a SH nurse multiple times in the head in this dream. Lol.

Uh, other one dealt with racing. Everything's kind of vague now but I do remember "accidentally" exploding this creepy guy's car and telling him off. (Which I will probably do if he starts being creepy again later this afternoon =_=) Unfortunately, those are the only few I really remember lately. I can't really seem to remember my dreams unless I've been sleeping a good amount (at least 8) and I think waking up on an even hour of sleep? Haha, I'm so rusty in this area now

As far as most memorable dream goes (I definitely wouldn't say favorite) ... eh, I'd personally rather not mention the details because it's just that bad. It just ended up (no kidding) foretelling the future. A couple days later, the same type of events and themes as in my dream happened with my friend in real life. He was actually in the original dream too. :\

Wow, suddenly I feel embarrassingly normal. I can't remember the last time I had a dream, I don't know. Either I'm dreaming and forgetting or not dreaming at all. Which probably is not a good thing, but as long as I get REM, I'll be sane.

Back when I was younger most of my dreams usually lasted all of 2 minutes and usually involved my riding a bike or rollerskating and coming to a painful crash at which point I would wake up.

But the most recent dream I can recall, was from two years ago. Yes, the last time I had a dream I remembered was two years ago. I do not really know the how dream too well, but the short end of it was that I was getting married, apparently. I haven't a clue to whom, since it is not to the person I would wish to, as I was making the comment to myself in the dream what am I going to tell them. The only other piece of information from it I remember was that I'm pretty sure it was a reality TV show ><.

Pretty normal, I guess. Wish I could dream FF or anime, that would be more entertaining. Oh well, I dream enough when I'm awake to cover that all I guess.

Well I'll share one of my favorite dreams I can still remember. It's was really just me on the Going Merry (a ship in One Piece) just hanging out with Luffy and company. I played some weird Rock Paper Scissors with Zoro using his katanas. But we were all laughing and having a good time. I then was taking a stack of books to Nico Robin when I trip and fall right in front of her, she just rested her chin on her palm and I said, of all things, "Can I call you 'Robin-Onechan (big sis, but I think I ACTUALLY said Onichan (Big brother)?' " And she just gave her usual smirk, and I woke up.

I was so happy, I was really walking on sunshine that day. It felt so wonderful to have a dream like that.

Anyway I did have a strange dream just this morning, the first half I can barely recollect, it was just too fuzy to describe. After that I woke up, and went back to sleep. It didn't take long when I had a dream that I heard a knocking right outside my window and I saw Q (yes from Star Trek TNG) wearing a blue polo shirt, saying "WAKE UP!" and I did. No Q out my window though

That just reminded me of a dream I had when I was still in Yellowstone. The door to my room was open for some reason, and this little kid, like 1 and a half to 2 and a half years old, kind of waddled in with the toddler "buh?" expression on his face. He looked at me, and then looked my alarm clock and pointed at it. I looked at it, and it started going off in real life.

I also had another dream in Yellowstone where someone came into my room in the middle of the night and nudged me awake, saying, "Excuse me. Excuse me. I'd like a scoop of chocolate and vanilla, please," and I was like "okay," sat up in my bed, and scooped the icecream for him. So I was effectively doing my job from bed. That dream sucked. That job sucked, too; lines that went on without end for five hours straight... ugh. Glad I'm doing anything else this Summer, instead.

There was also this dream I had out there where the execs of Xanterra decided to do experimental testing on us employees. I was in some kind of control room when this thing hit, and everyone but me died in that room. I also vaguely remember this dog intently telling me I needed to do something as I ran away. Outside, I somehow had a gun, and I started gunning down these zombies. There were also these big huge snapping plants, I suppose kind of like the Mean Green Mother From Outer Space, except they didn't talk.

I met up with my friend and some other survivors, and we found these execs hiding outside, in plain view behind a wall with some kind of control panel in front of them. My friend was like "You all suck," or something like that, and they said something like "We own you; we can do whatever we want to you," and he said some kind cheesy one liner with a smirk on his face, and crushed them underneath the wall. Then a plant attacked him, and I tried to save him. I don't know if he survived or not. After that, I ended up down some cave with a bunch of other survivors, and we all just kinda dicked around, like it was the Employee Dining Room, or something, and the dream ended after that.

Yay for dreams! Anyhoo...

This is a dream i had recently & although i only remember obscure parts of it, it was weird as hell.

I was at the Hilton hotel, near the Evaggelismos horpital in Athens & i was checking in. A bell boy took me to my room, it was huge appartment with a grand balcony. The sun was shining brightly & it was hot, even if i was wearing winter clothes. After some time, my brother came to the room. He was just like Alphonse Elric from the FMA & was speaking japanese. We left & when we went out in the street, a huge dark gray dog ran towards me from the inside of the hotel & leaped onto me. Then it either licked me & covered me in saliva,or pissed on me...( I'm not sure)

Later on, i was hit by a car & i was taken to the hospital. A blonde good looking woman apparently hit me & came to me to the hospital.I somehow got to know her & we came really close.Then i met het aunt,who (surprisingly) was Tania Russof,a pornstar from the balcans- i don't remember where.

We went for a drive & she told me i should go to her niece's father & ask him to let me marry her(.......). We went together, after we run over some cats in the street & after she hit 2 scooters on porpose while parking her car.

I got out of the car & into their house, which was like a mirror reflrction of my home back in Sparta, everything was inverted. There was a half-bald man & the blonde girl (dressed superextramegawow sexy) & after giving me tea to drink, we talked about the marriage with the father. Suddently,i found myself in her bedroom making out with her & then the dog from befor came into the room & bit me in the leg. I even felt the Bite!It had a head as big as a bear's & even if i was pushing it, i couldn't make it go away.

Then, my cellphone woke me up. Bliax.

hmm..well lets see. My most favorite dream ever I had when I was like 7 or 8 I believe. Alright well I walked into a gym from school. It had a ton of students there and a teacher. I was going in and all the people said "He was about to arrive" so everyone started to hide behind things. I tried to but no where was left. So then does anyone remember the cyclops from the dark world in Link to the Past? Yeah well one of those guys came in. And he started looking angry walking towards me. Then just as I was walking at him I slipped on a boomerang on the ground. And I started riding it on my feet like a skate board, but it slid across the floor and sparks were flying under it. And I then cirlced the bully and he fled and left. Finally all the people came out of hiding and were all thanking me and I a hero I suppose.

Best dream ever!

I highly recommend going through This site as it has a decent description of what your dreams mean as I have gone through and they seemed rather accurate, just look for the word and it tells you

I vaguely remember my earliest dream, I was like running away from home or something and there was this huge road completely covered in Autumn leaves and there was these huge trees, and in one of them there was a treehut with these little kids telling me to come join them. This was when I was like 6 or something and apparently it meant that I had done something wrong but I am not sure what the kids and the treehut meant though I could find out I guess...

Another thing that often happens in my dreams is that I have this amazing ability to jump really high, like into the clouds high. From the site it apparently means if I take risks I will see them come to reality and if I cant jump (Which I can) then I am uncertain of what might happen and I am afraid of change. Also as I mentioned in my journal I used to have a lot of dreams about a wave is just about to come, and that I have been going back to school. But yeah I suggest looking through that site as its quite interesting.

Hmm... that site does have some interesting stuff, but it also has somewhat limited answers/variations for words. Like, I looked up "experiment" to see what it would say about that dream where all the Xanterra employees were experimented on, and all it had on that was an explanation of a scenario in which you yourself are conducting an experiment (although I suppose they can only store so much info, eh?) I also don't know if I trust all of what it is saying. Interesting site, though.

Speaking of the first dreams in memory, I remember one from when I was like 5, 6, or 7. It involved these Romanesque/Greek temples, with those pillars set up outside, etc, and they were surrounded by these large bodies of water. There were these odd, depressed-looking blue people wandering around, and also this witch flying around on a broomstick or something, laughing crazily (she wasn't particularly scary, however.) At some point, the witch fell off her broom and into the water, and where she fell in, an image of her smiling face from the side could be seen just below the water. It went to something else, and then it went back to this image of her, with this dangerous music playing, like she was about to drown. Then, the music cut out, and her head exploded (not graphically, though) and everyone cheered, I think. When I woke up, it upset me, however, and scared me for months, or years, to come (can't remember which.) Anyhoo...

This is a new one; it gave me a hard time last night. It was bad, do i remember many parts of it.

Let's see...I like this girl & i saw her in my dream. I'm up to tell her how i feel about her. Well, she's got a boyfriend, but she wants to dump him 'cause he's gotten annoying. This dream is about them.

It's the easter holiday period & the family is gathered at our place. It doesn't look like it; it's more like a big wooden hotel.

I come in when it's time to have lunch, every one is at the table waiting for the rest of the folks to start eating. Then, i come in & see her family all over this guy, praising him & in the same time, compromising me. She also comes in & he rushes to her & kisses her. Then, i get pissed & start shouting at them for they should be over & stuff. Then, i get surrounded by his mates, quite the party of trendy-boys. They drag me out to the balcony ( it was a wide one) & they make a circle around me & him.

He says that we're gonna fight to death & whoever lives will have a chance with her. So, the brawl starts- he grabs me from the neck & witha swift move, i manage to escape his grip & i kick him in the chest. He gets dizzy & then i get the chance to grab his arm behind his back & twist his arm, breaking it in 3 pieces. He falls to the frloor, but with a wave his arm is back to normal!!! I get all confused & start punching him, but just like that, he recovers. That happens a few times & then, i start running fast in some corridor, trying to get away, "regroup" & get a new plan.

On a wall, there was a broadsword. I pick it up & go after him. He's in sort of a living room with her in his arms; the happy couple...With a jump, i get in front of him & swing the sword against him, cutting him in half. But with a blink of an eye, he's back to normal. I keep that up, but nothing happens. It's like he's come back from the dead like 20 times..

The next scene i remember is back at the table, with her hugging him, with a large smile on both their faces. I try to split them up, but nothing happens & he says: " Face it, you can't beat me, you're weak".

The scene changes again & i 'm with myself, yes i'm there,double- he's in negative colors though. He says to me: "I'm not done yet. I'll try harder when i get there. Come now.."
