That's right, kiddies. It's the new year now, so it's just TYPICAL that we're all going to get viruses and suffer CRUEL AND PAINFUL DEATHS!!!!! ...Well, maybe not going THAT far, but yeah. Who has been ill this year and who is getting ill? My mum's been ill since December 27th -- boourns, and she only just got over it a week ago... She had Viral Vertigo, which apparently went around a lot since late last year - early this year. Anyway, I have a cough now. Or at least the onset of a cough. It's hurts me and makes me cry. Well... I haven't actually cried, but I suppose I could if I wanted to. =\ So... new year illnesses, anyone?

1,403  | I had sinus/dry throat problems for about 4 days a couple weeks ago, but no real sickness other then that. People damn me for my incredibly strong immune system...which is weird because I don't exactly eat the greatest things, lol.

3,006 | Not actually yet this year, but just last month. It started as a bloody nose, I think, because of the cold weather we've been having. I couldn't breath through one nostril. Then, the next morning, I had a soar throat and a plugged up nose. That lasted for like four days, during which I started taking Airborne, which I think really did help. On the third night, my neck was all stiff and painful. I actually cringed and grimaced a few times, and my friends were like "...are you okay?" Heh. I fuckin' hate soar throats. Anyhoo... Wuv, Yer Mom

1,720 | Awww poor Chezzy! You need a cup of soup or hot chocolate and a big snuggly blanket and a hot water bottle, complete with a Silent Hill DVD or the SH games. I haven't been sick this year, which is quite unusual. I've been drinking a lot of cranberry juice though, and almost everyone around me has been ill at last once this year. Hopefully I won't catchy one of these silly colds, flus or viruses. Funny thing is the whole of next door got some kind of tummy bug thing and were all fighting over the loo... not a nice thing to think of >_< However, last year I had this horrible flu thing over my January AS exams, which didn't give me the most amazing grades. It was one of those flus where you just feel completely bed-ridden and feel really dizzy when going a short distance to get to the loo. I also had these wierd stomach cramps which stopped me for doing anything over some of the time I was doing my art exam. Unfortunatly, in times of stress the icky nasties try to get the better of you. It's just wierd that this January, i've been more stressed over my exams (they usually don't really bother me much). Hmm... maybe studying immunity in A2 biology makes you more immune to stuff... hehehe.

I remember because I got better a day before I went to visit my boyfriend, and when I got back, a day later, my health was ****ed again. Pretty crazy -- maybe my illness wanted to be kind enough to let me spend two days with my boyfriend before I went back to feeling half dead!  Leroy: sniffles? Or EMO-ASTHMA!  It's this thing I just made up. Although it's just not the same without the fringe...

3,090 | I have the nose thing kind of right now, it was boiling hot yesterday and now it is quite cold. I do not often get sick however I normally find myself with a very irritating headache which will not go away.

1,316  | I actually haven't had a full-blown cold or anything like flu-like symptoms for at least 3 years. At least that's the last time I remember, possibly longer. I dunno why. I take a daily vitamin, which may help since it has a lot of vitamin C in them. If I get anything at all, it may be a stuffy nose for a couple days. If I feel the onset of anything, I'll take some AirBorne right away, or something with a lot of immune system boosters so it'll knock it out before it gets bad.

1,272 | I almost always have a cold of some sort. Plus [fun fun] Allergies to god knows what. I suffer from sinus problems, too. I'm forever spraying things up my poor little nostrils to make the pain go away >.> That said, I have never once in my life suffered from a cough. I seem to be entirely immune. Which is quite bizarre, considering most of my family members do suffer from them. But I'm not complaining, of course ;p

1,427 | I had a cold in september that has left me a silent asthmatic...Puh! More excuse to guzzle Nyquil.  Actually, it has kept me from my Mac Baren Latakia blend... And over four months without so much as a sour dottle is irksome! Especially in Winter! A spoonful of sugar with rum drizzled over it, or an Irish coffee works as an admirable antitussint and expectorant!
