TFF Forum Skins

I was curious to see what my sig/avatar looked like on the other skins of the forum, because I realized that my sig/avatar may not appear to me like it appears to other people. So I was curious.

Which skin do you all use? Any particular reason, or do you just like the colors? TFF Dark is what I use, it's just a little easier on the eyes however, I like TFF Light too.

Hopefully the results of the poll will help people make better decisions on how to design their sig/avatar for the majority of the TFF forum to see it at it's best.

I've always used TFF Dark ever since its birth. And from the last thread like this that was made, I think the majority was TFF Dark too, but I'm not sure if it's changed since then.

TFF blue, always have and if they ever get rid of it I'll leave... seriously.

As far as I can see light is too bright, dark isn't really too dark however it makes a lot of things blend in with it so it's not really a good idea. There is also another reason I use Blue but I'll let you figure that out for yourself.

I'm pretty sure that Fuzz has a thread polling this around here somewhere, I think in the announcements or something. I think the concensus there was that TFF Dark was fairly popular. I know that the Light is the default, so if I view it while not signed in, like at work I get that. It is rough on the eyes at times, since I'm used to the darker background. Dark is nice on the eyes, especially at night when I'm using the forums the most. I'm probably slowly killing my eyes though since I go back and forth between TFF and Word, which is blindingly white when compared here. So the contrast is stark at times.

I know in the middle of the night word kills me because it is just generating so much extra light than dark does. Though if I want to light my way through a dark hall I'd use word to do it. Laptops make surprisingly good flashlights, also practical too. Battery life sort of kills them for actual real practical use over long periods.

So yeah TFF Dark. Though I do not really make my banners to really suit one or the other. When I design it, its in photoshop and I'm not thinking about what it is going up against since I know there are so many skins that trying to make something that works for them all is pretty pointless. Its like trying to make your web page work for all the different browsers out there.

Light usually sits well with my mood, however, Dark is nice when one's eyes are tired.

5.1 is slightly garish.

And Blue is depressing IMO.

Usually TFF dark for me. I've used both light and dark. I'm not sure if anyone else's noticed, but the white outline on some of the gifts stands out more against the dark, which used to annoy me. I'm insanely picky about little things like that.

And it can tend to make the darker user titles/names blend in a little.

But I generally like the dark better. White things stand out alot better, And...Erm.. I just like it ^^. TFF Dark for me.

I've used TFF Light since I first registered, if only because i'm too lazy to go into my Options and change it. TFF Dark is probably the best overall, but hey, I like the light theme well enough, so it stays until whenever I get motivated enough to actually select something else.

^ If you scroll down all the way to the bottom of any page on the forums, there is an option on the leftmost corner of the page to instantly change the skin you want, a little less tedious then going into the User CP heh.

Anyway, I'm using Dark; the style's colors suit my eyes fine. Light is just too light.

I USED to use the default light for awhile, i tried dark...but eh it was just too dark for me. Right now I am using TFF Blue and probably will be for a long time seeing as it fits my avatar/sig color scheme pretty damn well (white is the default font color)
