Plushies?

Does anyone know some sites online on how to make plushies? I have the basic idea, what materials to use, and how to do it. I mainly need to know how the finished, un-connected peices fit together, or if they too are just sewn on.

For those who don't know what I'm talking about, a plushie is basically a homemade doll made out of cloth and cotton but they are cute! lol. I wanna make a Moogle for a friend's birthday.

Thanks

oh hey thats a lot of effort and, pardon my girliness when i say.. how cute! from my own limited plushie making experience, I have to say they are sewn together, as it promotes structural integrity of the toy as a hole, rather than a mechanical locking sustem of a sort, which is possible, but just not as strong.

Sewn, ducky.

Sewn all the way.

I, personally, sew a lot and always making things. Sewing is the only real way you can make a plushie/stick the pieces all together.

I don't have any sites, but if you wanna stick 'em together, sewing ftw.

What other way is there that would actually work. I can't think of any adhesives and everything else is too bulky. Just some quick advise before you do anything. Don't just pull out the thread and start sewing. Look for some site to help you sew right. If you don't sew it right it will either look bad or come apart.

Yeah I've never sewn. I don't think I even know anyone who has sewn. I just wanted to make a Moogle for my friend cause she seemed to think they were cute without knowing what they were.

I don't feel like buying/shipping one ;x

^That might be a problem.

http://www.sewing.org/enthusiast/html/e_learntosew.html

This site might help you somewhat... and if you decide not to make the moogle, they're other idea on the site.

Anyway, it may or may not help you, and it's not going against any forum rules, so yeah, that link might help you.
