This is not the greatest topic in the world, this is just a tribute!

This Thread is to discuss all of the great topics, RPs, word games and others that have shaped TFFs history.

Is there any particular topic you can remember on TFF that was especially important to you because it either shaped your view of the world or made you love TFF so much you couldn't leave?

This thread is mainly aimed at the members who have been around long enough to know of the topics that have been placed into the cleft of dimension and beyond.

Do you remember what TFF was like during the implementation of your favourite topics and were there any topics where you met some of the TFFers you now regard as close freinds?

An example might include the Post your picture thread which appears to always become a historic thread as we have a huge one going now and one in the Cleft of Dimension. You can mention any thread even if it is only important to you for some reason or another.

Discuss away!

This is an interesting thread.

I can't really name a thread that shaped TFF, as I think all threads have a way of effecting TFF, and not just in terms of bandwidth, either.

But I can name some threads that REALLY changed me a lot.

There were threads long ago in Word Games. I think one was a spam thread. And other spammy threads "Are you as boring as me?" and some other one, I think, in which I met some very nice people including Rain McCloud who I am still very close to. Lolosky, who I admire and can tell ANYTHING - rezpek, homie. Ruby Light, who I think is a seriously great person. And of course, Dante. I remembered having trying to catch his attention on many occassions, and when I finally did, we posted back and forth between each other quite a bit. It definately shaped a VERY important and life changing relationship.

Some boy that isn't active anymore posted a thread about "who is better, cloud or squall", I remember that was soon after I'd joined. I remember Dante and me almost got into trouble with Dawezy in that thread for posting back and forth between each other again and again. That thread, that spam thread I mentioned, and the "are you as boring as me", made me many friends (the ones I mentioned above as well as Angel Of Death and Cloud Strife X), and of course, led to my romantic relationship with Dante.

^That period on TFF was one of my most important. TFF was active and my buddies and me spammed up the threads in Word Games quite a bit. And of course, starting my relationship with Dante was a milestone in my life as well as my forum history. So you see, this goes beyond my TFF experience, but also led me to committ myself to somebody as well. I like to think I have learnt a lot over this time as well. I feel I have grown and become much more educated inside and outside of TFF which is fairly important to me.

I remember there was another thread, too. The childhood toys thread. I remember relm having some interesting posts in there, that I really enjoyed reading and I also remember Jet and I posted back and forth to each other for a while in that and some other thread that I can't remember. I do remember it was fairly enjoyable and that I inferred that he committed incest with his cousin or something. I like to think that formed our forum friendship somewhat. We don't particularly talk, but I like to think he and I are cool.

Then there was al_bhed_psycho's thread, in which I lost a good friend. I won't get into the details, since I'm sure everybody remembers it, but my lost friend just couldn't seem to accept my differing opinion, and so refusing my apology, which saddens me. However, I did make a friend out of that thread. One that I don't really speak to outside of TFF, but we exchange some posts on TFF sometimes and that's nice. (al_bhed_psycho herself.)

The "want to say something nice about someone? Say it here" thread had quite an impact on me at TFF. It gave me a chance to see who really appreciated who, and I think many were grateful to be mentioned. I made a few friends out of that thread.

There was also a staff thread ages ago that resulted in me becoming particularly disliked with a group of members, but I consider that to be a done and dusted thread (whether or not they do is beyond me, though, so I won't speak on their behalf as that'd just be downright rude.)

Anyway, I think those are the only threads I can think of at the moment. I may post here later, though. I'm sure I'll think of another thread or two.
