Good news for Alcoholics
They have apparently made a drug which will reverse liver disease.

wow, wait till I tell my mate. In fact I better not. The only thing that stops him drinking 24/7 is the fact he's afraid of getting liver disease. He drinks way too much as it is.

Well if I remember correctly Cesar had a few problems with his liver so this will be good for him. Doesn't worry me though as my Dad and his dad etc... drunk heaps and there is no history in our family nor do I drink alcohol that often.

...Heh. -_- Wintermetal, yeah, that's true. People who have actual problems and not something induce by alcohol, then it's a better cause. Still, the fact remain that there could be drugs scamming.

Ooh, I studied liver disease last year, it's horrible, horrible!.
All the complications and the consequences of the disease(s) are something that would bring you nightmares. One problem that is been seen more and more, given the current nutrition situation in developed countries and especially in the first world is fatty liver; just as bad and as cirrhosis and ultimately leading to cirrhosis, if there is a drug for it, then scores of people are going to have a much better life. Nice. |

Well not to be the optomistic one, but it will also be good for those that have liver disease because it is heradirtary or other.
I think the pill is cool an all.  Too bad my aunt died from liver disease a year before this came out. R.I.P |
