Osama is dead.... from typhoid?? (Rumour maybe)

I have just heard over the last half-hour or so that a very unreliable source that Osama bin Ladin has either died or lies dying from typhoid. The news channel I'm listening to right now (MSNBC) says that he is probably not dead but may yet die from some sort of water-borne disease, perhaps typhoid. Muhahahaha....

I'm not sure I trust this already apparently unreliable source, and although it's on the news, not much of it has really been wide-spread... I read newspapers and watch the news, and I haven't heard a thing about this.

I wouldn't care if Osama was the die, as he's pretty much an extremist lunatic... On the other hand, though, I'd like to see him rot in prison a bit before dying off.

If this is true, though, then I have two words...

Whether Osama died/has died doesn't matter.

He was born on 9/11. How many people here had heard the name before then? He accomplished the goal: Destroying two buildings and 3000+ lives that started the war that terrorized his entire region, destroying property and killing innocents.

All over something. No one is sure what, cept Osama, who is dying/dead.

End of story. Yay for not living near anything important enough for terrorists to blow up.

It's a mixed bag, I think. There have been rumors that he's been gone since December of 01. While I doubt it, I'd ask you to think about Tupac. Why does he still have music videos and songs coming out when he's been dead for over a decade? Maybe Osama has made stock tapes to release every so often, rather for the government to release to keep people afraid.

Not to mention, that I think theres a lot more to this story. A: Osama has kidney disease. He would need dialysis every 3 days at the very least. You need a dialysis machine, electricity and clean water. All of which are very difficult to find in a ****ing cave. Plus the chances of infection are astronomical unless youre in sterile conditions.

Supposedly, according to French ultraconservative paper Le Figaro, bin Laden could have been axed in July of 2001, when a CIA agent had allegedly met with him in a Dubai hospital while he was getting dialysis. Okay, now even if there were bodyguards, theres a chance that you could take him out... or the machine, or something. WTF?

Oh and Dan, thre WTC buildings were taken down. The towers were hit, obviously, and so was building 7, a 50 story building maybe 300 feet away from the others. How and why that fell is another conspiracy theory for another night

While I'd like to see him be tried for the crap that he's done, I really don't think that his death will have a high impact on terrorism. He's bred thousands and thousands of people to have the exact same mentality as him, and they're all working for his cause.

Sure as shit, as soon as he does die (if he hasn't already) there will be another person lurking behind, waiting to step up to the plate. I guess I sound pessimistic.

I guarantee you that if he has been dead for as long as some people claim, that the actual news won't be reported until election time in '08 so the G.O.P. can say "OMG THE REPUBLICAN PARTY IS UBER WE KILLED BIN LADEN VOTE FOR US". It's called an October Surprise, and politicians have used such things for decades to bolster support.

If its true, then thats good news. Far better news than if the military had killed him. This way he isnt a martyr.

At the same time, i can forsee (if its true) alot of people saying that he died fighting and this is an evil coverup

He didn't JUST destroy two buildings and thousands of people. The Pentagon was severely damaged, little businesses around the WTC were ruined from the debris, and there was a terrorist attack AGES ago that was meant to bring down one of the towers, but it failed to do so, although it did do damage and killed people so to them it wasn't a total loss. Not to mention other attacks that had nothing done about them. About damn time someone did something about those people besides sit on their ass and negotiate with people that can't be compromised.

The source is unreliable, so why rely on it? They've been saying off and on for some time now that he's dead, and was proven otherwise by a new recording. This is probably no different, and is only getting special attention due to the lack of tapes proving otherwise.
