Germs on your keyboard

did you know there are more germs on your computer keyboard than your toilet bowl.

Now that scares me, so what do you do to keep your keyboard clean? I always find myself washing my hands every 10 mins. I want to buy my own keyboard just for me.. agh, it's gross.

Well yeah germs are rampant. They did a test with comparing germs. Apparently ice machines in NYC at McDonalds have more germs on them than a toilet bowl does. Stuff like that's zany.

Anywho uhhh just don't go overboard. Use hand sanatizer and what not, but be careful not to be a germ freak with it.

Ok, never going to McDonalds again.

But I hate the thought of someone going to the toilet, then not washing their hands, and then using the computer.

oh, and never touch a guy's TV remote... when they're finished watching porn, does he clean his hands and then turn the TV off? I doubt it.

Funny you should mention that, the other day I was real bored so I pulled out all the keys out and cleaned under there, so much crap was there I am not suprised that there is more germs than a toilet bowl. I shouldn't really eat over my keyboad but meh, its nice and clean now and next time I get a new 1 I am going to keep that cover film on top of it.

I want to do that too. But wouldn't the plastic sheet just get messy aswell? I suppose it would be easier to wash.

Oh no, germs. Your body has an immune system for a reason. If you don't let your body confront germs, your immune system will weaken. Your body changes depending on what kind of place you live in/foods you eat/etc.

Foreign foods don't agree with your stomach? Eat more of them and you'll notice that problem go away.

Moving from somewhere dry to humid? Your body gets used to these things.

And trying to keep germs away from you can only result in your body going "Well, I guess this kid lives in a vat of soap. Immune system, gtfo."

And then when you go outside and germs are thrust upon you, you are ****ed.

Also, there are more germs on your hands and mouth than your genitalia. Ass too.

I'd hate to think of what germs are on my keyboard. My desk has seen so much stuff in the past three years... Does "girls ass" count as a germ? I'm pretty sure cooties is contagious. That's been there too.

but, like Dan said. You need to experience these germs...Otherwise you're ****ed anyway.

I don't LIKE the thought of masses of germs because I am a completel hygene freak. Oh God. I have to wash my hands all of the time. And then, once I've turned off the tap, I feel dirty for having touched the tap, so I clean the tap and then my hands again. I hate the way I just do that. Then again, Obssessive Compulsive Disorder doesn't much help this either.

As for my pc, I clean it regularly. My old pc was so dirty I dreaded turning it on. Ten years without having really been cleaned much, go figure.

My nice new computer is sleek and black, so I can see easier when it's dirty. Oh fun times. Luckily I don't sweat too much at my desk like my brother and dad do with their computer, so mine isn't sweat stained and disgusting.

Anyway, I think that's about it from me. *sneezes on keyboard*.

I don't really pay much attention to how clean my keyboard is. Computer yes, keyboard not so much. I mean, I do wipe it down every now and then but I figure it's just going to get dirty again anyways so there's no point being a clean freak about it. If it gets -that- bad I'll just buy a new one.

Chez, there's a difference between OCD and just erratic.

OCD is a seriously ****ed up mental disorder. You washed the sink. If you were OCD, it would have taken you an hour to compose that post.

hey, that is kinda grossish...i was totally just eating. but really, it don't bother me all that much. the cleanest thing in a $120 steak restaurant was the toilet seat. [besides the food, of course.] but seriously, that fact doesn't affect me too much. i've been typing on this thing for ages, and the worst i've gotten in the past three months is a cold. boo hoo.
