Fears!

I made a thread before, I think. About a year ago, maybe. Called "Phobia's", so, not to be a self-copy-cat, I'm calling this one "fears!"

Seriously, now.

Posting in one of the old phobia threads would be major necro-posting, so, yeah. What are you scared of and why?

I have a very deep and personal fear.

But I also have others as well.

Ghosts/spirits. I am scared SHITLESS if I see a shadow. Why? I think it's a ****ing ghost. I am scared to DEATH of there being somekind of possibility of me running into a spirit or something. That's probally my second biggest fear.

Third; spiders. EWW! I hate these things! They have so many freaking legs. Ew ew ew. They scare me a LOT. I'm counting on my boyfriend to rid out house of spiders someday! Hah.

Fourth; fire. Oh my god. It's not a big phobia or anything, but I used to have dream of being stuck in this house that was burning down and I was struggling to get out and couldn't... Really ****ing scared of fire. It does look cool when it's not burning down a house, though.

Five; confined spaces. Ooooh... *shudders*... I'm SORT OF claustraphobic, heh. Yeah, I don't like being in a tight space. It frightens me because I feel like there is no way out and that I'll suffocate.


ALSO. What are those massive metal towers that hold cables up? Pilons? (sp?) Something like that. Yeah. I don't like those things.

...I'm also scared of the dark.

Man, I'm a sissy.

Bridges and high platforms. It's more of a fear of it breaking from not having enough supports. If I'm on something like that, I stay as close to the building as possible cause it's less likely to break there.

Not really a fear, but I'm afraid that spririts exist and mess around with this world. I'll sometimes think I see a floating arm or something for a second and freak out. If they exist, Ithink they realize I think they're real and mess with me like that. Like once I felt an arm on my shoulder. turned around, and saw a man there for a second, then it faded away.

I've conquered my third major fear already. It was vampires, but I forced myself to get over it. I was tired of almost passing out at the mere thought of a vampire.

Well for me im afriad of being on a boat.Mostly because of the fact that if i'm stuck in the ocean i'll probualy be one of those who may not make it...im also afraid of ghost and spirts to.I don't know why someting tells me that there not friendly...just something in the back of my head i guess.I'm still guessing that there somewhere in my houses attic.O_O

Heights..

Seriously, even at one of the local shopping malls theres 3 seperate levels.. the rough distance between floor/ceiling is around.. 20 feet? Walking past on the 1st floor and taking a slight peek over the side - makes me automatically walk the other way to the closest wall and peer forward, lol.



Nothing else comes to mind really, death isnt even on the list, we all go the way of the Dodo so meh? lol

Heights.............I've been scared of it for years now and dood,I can't even stand standing on the ledge of the 1st floor.I don't even dare to get near it and I would run from it if I see it.It's horrible,dood...so horrifying.

Second = Insects...I mean look at them,they're dangerous with just one bite.I've been scared of it since i was stung by 5 bees in a row on the same hour.urgh...It amost killed me.

Third = Being alone in the dark..It's creepy standing there doing nothing where there is no light at sight.Sounds you don't wanna hear like footsteps and wolves howling at night.Seriously,I can die

Ugh....Okay well my fears include the following:

Solid Color shower curtains. Ever see the movie where a girl is taking a shower an some guy comes in an stabs her without her even knowing. Of course you have. It is a horror movie trade mark. that is why I only buy a clear shower curtain. though if a guy were to come in while I was taking a shower on the intent that he wanted to kill me.....there would be little I could do anyways. Just don't want to be caught off guard is all.

The Dark. This was supposed to go away when I was younger, but for some reason it descided to stick around an bother me some more. Of course I probably freak myself out mor ethan anything. I try an sit in the dark, but I tend to imgaine some kind of monster at the end of my bed staring at me, or a few of them about to grab me. I don't know why I still have it, but I am sure it will be with me for the majority of my life. Or until the sun stays up forever. Which brings me to my next fear.

The unniverse. Any thought of the universe an I get a weird feeling. I get a freaked out feeling. Say I am looking up into the sky an all the sudden feel like if I keep doing it the sky will literally fall down on me. In fact at this very moment I think that by typing this the world will began to fall throughout the universe. On my worst episodes I have to point my fingers an toes down, not look up, and have my feet an palms on the ground facing down. I tend to think that if I don't that me pointing up in anyways will cause the moon or something to come crashing down into the earth. An God forbid enyone tell me that no matter what I am pointing to techinically I am always pointing up. I get real freaked out then. I used to not even be able to look at the sky whatsoever without either getting dizzy, having a attack, orfeeling the world was going to come crashing in on me. I got this fear when I was 6 an my mother was trying to teach me religion an science at the same time. Explaning to me that the universe expands an contracts all the time. So one day it could just pop! I have had the phobia ever since.

Open Doors. It is my belief that if a door is open it is an invite to anyone an anything to come through. Thus any monsters in the closet will think it just fine to come out an grab me. Also with lights. If there is a light in a room I am not in...that means that other monsters are allowed to be in there. With the lights out I don't give a rats ass if they are in there or not. Somehow this is making me hungry for cheese....weird. Anyways even if the I close the doors I always think of th slight chance they could just open it, but it hasn't happened yet, and I always tell myself that I will hear it when it does.Like right now the doors where left open to my room an the closet.....I am offically freaked outXD. An these are just a few of my fears an phobias.

I also hate sudden movements an sounds. They get me really freaked out too. Some people always thought I had an animalistic quality to me becuase I was always so aware of my surroundings. Help me a lot when I got to kick peoples asses too. I instictivly could hear better an see better...so my hits were always on target an blocking there's. No I don't fight anymore, but thus my fears have come in handy. Oddly enough if I am with someone I am not as freaked out. Of course that is only if it has nothing to do with the universe. that is a phobia I will have no matter what. Which is weird because Star Trek is one of my favorite shows.

I'm not really scared of spirits, I think they are kinda cool. However, I am scared of dying slowly, but mostly if I am in a lot of pain. Such as if I have a car accident and I am maimed badly but not dead, that would be horrible for me.

Also, spiders. They are very gross and they sound so ugly when they run...it's disgusting. If I have to confront one...I will, but I would rather not.

Secondly, I really hate scary movies.
The movies themselves don't scare me, but after I watch it..i think about the scary parts...and thing about them...and think...and think...until I can think of nothing else and I can't sit still and I about die of scared anticipation.
(Yes its very weird..). So, I never watch anything scary.
I'm only afraid of the dark after I go through on of those...things..

I also don't like suspense, then 5 seconds of anticipation then BAM WAHAHAHA!!!!. I don't like that.

I am really afraid of rats or mice. They just terrify me. Even if there is one way across from me, I would scream like a little girl. Rats are the ugliest animals ever. Disgusting things.

I am also afraid of going into the water, like at the beach. Which is why I dont like going there. I cant swim, and I am worried I am going to drown. It happened a few times before, but good thing there were people near by to save me.

Heights worry me. But it depends on how high it is. If it is a few feet, I'm fine. But more than 3 stories, I'm not. I just want to be in a safe place, and not the ledge of it. I keep thinking someone might startle me, and I might fall over. yeah, not pretty.

I forgot one. Esculators. I got pushed when I was on one once and almost feel to my death on the steel blades at the end. Ow. Face rip-off OMG.

Anyway, yeah. Those thing freak me out. I feel I need somebody I trust to be there with me when I get on one. Unfortunately, there are not many people that fit into this category, heh.

Fears? I like the dark, I hate water and heights but I would say I am scared. But are funny creatures, Spirits give me comfort. Loss seems to be what makes me queesy, I guess I am obsessed with my stuff but I would hate to lose my collections and stuff, probably not a big fear but makes me feel sick thinking of it. Living for Eternity also is kind of freaky, I accept death with open arms but living for ever is not something I would do willingly, if we lose all memory and be reborn then I wouldn't mind so much but on a long scale, living 1000 years would be nice but anything longer is too much, especially in my body.
