A cold glass of milk!

Well, if there is a thread about ice cream and cheese, why not have a thread about milk?

My favorite kind of milk is skim because it's low fat and at my local grocery store it is the cheapest kind of milk there, seriously I drink tons of skim milk, I usually have to go and buy 2 or 3 gallons of milk every week just for myself. I also like 2% and chocolate milk, but I don't drink it that often. Yeah, milk is pretty much one of my favorite drinks ever, and a good source of calcium.

What are the thoughts of others about milk?

I love skim milk. (Not black here, heh).
I love milkshake as well, especially chocolate home made stuff and ice creamy vanilla milk shake.

PS I hate milk in all forms but the chocolate and strawberry variety. Plain milk is disgusting and I can hardly ever stomach it unless I am eating pancakes.

I like whole milk the best and go through at least three litres a day, milk is just such a handy beverage to have around the house. I mean what are cookies without the milk ?

I would too, I can't remember the last time I had cocoa puffs.

I almost forgot that there was strawberry milk. Whenever it was avalible at my school, I would always buy it, because normally I don't like my school's milk, but I've made an exception since its started selling strawberry milk since my previous semiester.

I love milk. It's one of my favourite drinks. Unfortunately, since I became a vegan, it's been much more difficult to find milk that I can drink (of the organic variety). Actually, that's not true. It's easy to find, just difficult to afford. It's about $2.99 per litre which is quite...a rip off I'll say. But oh well. Delicious none the less.

Yeah milk is the good stuff. It's the gift of the gods if you will. I always have it for my drink accompanied with dinner at home. I hate the taste of it if I drink it just by itself, but whenever it's eating and drinking of milk then it's all good. I like whole and 2% I cannot even drink skim it tastes like water mixed with milk to me.

My favorite milk is either 2% or whole milk. Only problem is, all we own at the house is skim milk. It's not bad at all, but it's just not the same.

Wow, the organic milk must be something special if it is $2.99 per liter. I can get a gallon of regular skim for about $2.79 each at the shell station in my town. If i remeber correctly, I think a gallon is twice as much as a liter, but I don't remember. It might also be a factor that I live in the dairy state, milk is plentiful, and probably cheaper here.

Milk is awesome. I love milk. Especially with ice cream or peanut butter sandwiches. 2% is my weapon of choice, and I probably go through a gallon and a half a week....

Nesquik makes this awesome stuff called Banana Milk, and its the tastiest milk I have ever come across. Its a tad spendy, but way worth it. Its like paradise on your palette....

Chocolate milk is also good. I prefer that by itself without food. Simply as a refreshing drink. Same goes with strawberry milk...
