That has nothing to do with religion, as I know a lot of religious people even fundamentalists who wouldn't even think of throwing a bible at someone's head(they opt for senseless hour-long talking about the grace of the tooth-fairy/christ); you my friend were a victim of inmaturity and bigotry.

So yeah, i made my point and made fun of christians in one post. Mission accomplished

Im a christian and the beggining wasnt just to annoy the moderators, i think it shows that not all Christians can be labeled. I for one, as a christian am interested in your religion as well as Paganism, thats not saying that i want ot convert but that i dont see it as a 'bad thing' or 'witchcraft' in the bad sense.

Paganism is an "umbrella" term meaning any religion that does not follow the Abrahamic Faiths, ie, Christianity, Judaism, and Islamic beliefs. Wicca is only one of many Pagan belief systems. Not all that practice Witchcraft are Wiccan, and not all Wiccans practice Witchcraft. Wicca is a commonly thought of Pagan religion, as there are more books on that Tradition than on any other.

Now to get back on subject.... Yes, it is sad to see people judging other people based on anything other than how they live thier lives. This includes religion, handicaps, race, nationality and gender. Teach them that you are not evil by actually being nice to them, even if they are cruel to you. Not only will they (hopefully) learn that you are not a "bad bad satan worshipper", but you could leave them very comfused for a while too.

In my old bible study group as a child we were taught never to let the bible touch the ground. I'm assuming it's one of the tiny little differences between all different walks of christianity, as I have heard some catholic friends say that they learned the same thing.

Throwing a bible at someone is very immature, but not unheard of. Most religions don't teach enough if anything about other religions leaving patrons who aren't self educated to be scared of and definitely persecute others for thier beliefs as they are deemed to be "wrong". Christianity itself is even one of the best known for persecuting itself between different denominations.

I cannot nor will not expend needless wasted effort into defending people of my common faith.

I can only say that one's deeds are upon their own heads.
I will not answer for their actions, whether they think they did it in the spirit of Christianity or not.

Quite often the greatest foes to ideals and philosophies are their own propenents and cute ideas are often the death of themselves.

Though I sorry for those who come underfire by zealots. You have my sympathies.

People should just respect people for who they are and what the believe in.

Throwing a bible at your head? That's abuse. They shouldn't be doing that, it's mean too.
