In school a lot of people will see some on with big glasses and be like oooo what a geek when its not their fault. I would like glasses that are rimless (just not big). I try to stick up for the so called "geeks" and try to help them out. Post what you think about "geeky glasses".

This is probably more suited for the General Section, but anyway, 2 words: Contact lenses! I have them and so do more people than you realise, but I must admit some girls looks sexy with them...

Also another fact is that Humans generally have bad eyesite, there are animals and creatures that have better eyesite, Human eyes are adequte but they could be much better, as humans continue to evolve they will hopefully get better though.

Erm. You're right, this is meant for GC... Anyways, though... glasses? I've been wearing them for over a decade. I kept realising how fuzzy my eyesight was getting, so I went to the opticians and they told me I needed glasses. After that, I was in and out of hospital because the doctors realised that I was on the verge of going completely blind. Luckily, I got better, but I'll always have to wear glasses, unless contacts or laser eye surgery, (which I'd never have). Contacts, maybe.

Glasses are cool, sometimes. There are nice styles, although lately I'm considering contacts since my glasses seem to constantly get in the way. Yep. I've been wearing glasses for about... 12 years now.

Moving to General Chat. And, I wear glasses. I like glasses. Some girls look really cute with them, and some look better without.

My boyfriend has glasses with slightly thick frames and used to be called "Harry Potter" by some people (though he looks NOTHING like Harry Potter). I think his glasses suit him as he has dark ryes and dark hair, and they compliment his face.

I don't think its such a big thing in the UK anymore as many bands have members with thick glasses. Just look at:

i think they're hawwt. xspecially if you have glasses geekier than everyone elses, makes you stand out and be unique. lol =)

Well I've been wearing glasses longer then all of you..maybe even Piroblaze!! LOL .

I've been wearing them for 33 years, and so i have seen styles come and go, but I dont think i was ever galled a geek because of them, i was called a geek for other reasons, such as being very intelligent .

I like my current style -- thin rectangular glasses. Before them I had a set of Giorgio Armani frames-- I guess I was trying to look like Neil Tennant from Pet Shop Bous in their original "Oppotunities" video, and thise did me just fine.

I've never tried contacts, mainly because i'm afraid i'd never get the hang of putting them in and taking them out, and women always say I look good with glasses.

I agree as well women who wear glasses are very sexy, and I think it enhances their beauty as well.

My auntie looks a lot like me but a couple of years older and she wears glasses... actually makes me envy her. Why do I have to have great eyesight?!

My best friend wears them, and she has long blonde hair too, giving her a slight Quistis-like look. A few others have reading glasses. Me being the sadact I am, often asks to try them on. For some reason I love the feel of them, which is one of the reasons why I love the summer... I get to wear sunglasses!

I think glasses can be a great fashion accessory as well as a practical tool. One can look real snazzy with the right pair of glasses.

If I see a chick wearing the right pair of glasses, it's a +1 Appearance Point bonus!

I prefer glasses with a thinner style. Although I agree, some girls look better with glasses on.

Personally, I love glasses on guys. The geekier the better. I like them because there's so many things you can do with them.

I can take them off and throw them aside when I want...

Or put them on and look cute and dorky at the same time...

hmm i doubt it, the reason we have poor eyesight is becuase darwins "survival of the fitest" doesnt apply to humans

if we didnt have medical adavances etc and warm houses people with poor eyesite would not live long as they couldnt hunt....therefore all humans would have 'good' eyesight.

I think glasses are sexy. I am one of those girls that actuallyl ove the geeky look. To me it make a guy look more sensitive an pure. Glasses are cute on a guy, and can show their intellectual as well, and can say more to a girl than "boobs". Flaunt them, and if anyone tells you differently, show them my pic an tell them I have the hawts for your glasses wearing butt, lol. JK
