Soda on Glasses? Like Coke-bottle lenses?

I don't wear glasses :ego: lmao. I toyed with the idea of getting non-perscription coloured contacts, just for the heck of it, but I like my natural eye colour anyways so whatever.

I'm the only one in my family who doesn't wear glasses either. My brother didn't either at first, but he did so much reading in university/law school that he needs them now. Poor guy.

I personally don't mind glasses, some people look rather good in them.

Well I dont think that someone with glasses can be classed as a "geek" I know lots of people who have glasses and are never called a geek. My brother has glasses and he is in a rock band!!!
Of course though some people do get called names because they have glasses, if you are one of them people... just get contact lenses!!

I know soda fizzes but... What'd you do, shake them before you drink them? I've drink sodas out of glass and never had that problem. But now that I think about it, I can see what you're saying. Use a straw if its so bad.

I agree rain can be a bitch especially rain that hits your face. But I just take my glasses off.

Another problem thats unique to me, is that because I have long eyelashes, my glasses will get blurry from sweat and oil by the end of the day from blinking.

Yes. I used to drink my soda out of a bowl. Now I just pour it on the floor and lap it up (no fizz).

My biggest hate was in the winter when you walked into a warm place after being in the cold and BAM! fogg'd. Or if you drank tea and it fogged up the damn things...oh my hatred for glasses shall never end.

Not that it's a problem anymore because I have CONTACTS.

I wear glasses, but there transition so in the sun they look damn cool, anyways I think that the stereotype is annoying!

I have to wear glasses, I hate wearing them so that is why I wear contacts,no offense to the post above but I dont think that they look sexy, well it also depends right?. So yeah the main point is that I hate wearing glasses but I have to. I also dont think that because you wear glasses that makes you a nerd, lol I've heard many people saying that already and it is just plain bull.

I wear glasses for distance...sorta. I don't wear them at home cause everything's right near me, and at work I can't wear them cause they fog up everytime I go in and out of the cooler. So yeah I almost never have them on. I like glasses on other people, except myself. I just think I look better without them. I know alot of people who wear them and they look perfectly fine to me. Once I'm old enough which is 18 I want to get lazer eye surgery. I really don't like having bad eyes but I think I look goofy with my glasses on so yeah it's either that or contacts, and I've heard a couple stories about contacts that make it so I won't put them in.

My brother,during bootcamp,he had these HUGE ugly glasses,I have a pic of them if you'd liek to see.They hid his afce and are so ugly,he put them on for us when we saw him during Friends and Family day.He looked so geeky.I guess they are for safety features as well as to help his eye sight but yea...and its always good to help the geeks,I think people who make fun of others for anything are real jerks.I used to get made fun of alot and I still do,but not us much.

Well, if you've seen my picture in the Post Your Picture thread, then you know that I do indeed wear glasses. I don't know what "type" they are or if they count as nerdy glasses...but they're the square kind that most of those "emo" kids are wearing nowadays. I don't think that glasses make anyone look smarter, because if that's what they're going for-- they can go study to get smarter. But, anyway... I think that people are very judging, which means that when people wear glasses-- it just gives them some more of a need to dish out some lame retort. I rather enjoy glasses. I've been wearing glasses since the 4th grade.

All in all-- I think glasses are sexy. Just, learn to love them or forget about it.

I wear them when watching tv, on the computer or reading. Anything where I need or like to focus in. I'm supposed to wear them for driving but never do, it's too much of a change from not wearing them for a day then putting em on.

I don't wear glasses. My eye sight isn't too bad just yet lol. They do kind of play up sometimes which is weird. I just couldn't be bothered on getting my eyes checked.

Both of my parents wear glasses. My Mum wears hers when she's reading or doing something like cooking or writing. I think she only has problems with seeing short distance, apparently she can see from long distance perfectly. My Dad wears his most of the time, I'm not sure if he has problems with short distance or long distance sight. My brother has glasses too except he hardly ever wears them. I saw him with them on a couple of weeks ago and I thought it was pretty funny. He is supposed to wear them while driving but he doesn't. I think he only wears them while he's using the computer.

YES!!!! I infact doooo wear glasses. To tell you the truth, I enjoy these glasses of mine a whole bunch. If I had long hair, I could make myself look like Jin from Samurai Champloo. Since I have short hair... and the glasses shade automatically, I can look just like Rude and I have been complimented on that before. XD

But yeah, nothing is wrong with wearing glasses. I am completely against the fact of something touching my eye, even if it is me touching it. I couldn't even finish an eye exam because that stupid scope thing they have to put near your eye. I just hate people trying to touch my eye. erghhh!?!?!
