Hmmm... when I was younger I guess I had ran through a cobweb or something, had webs on my fingers, but I was convinced that somehow a spider was crawling on me and had spun a web between my fingers.

Didn't like that so much.

Although I never believed the "don't sit too close to the TV you'll ruin your eyes" kind of crap.

First, when I was reeeaaaallllyyy young, I beleived there really must be some kind of God around. Then I heard about God and was happy for a bit. Then I heard about the entire rest of the Religious and Spiritual world and became hopelessly confused again. Maybe I should have quit while I was ahead? XD

Santa Clause was ruined the moment my mom came to the fill the stocking while I was still awake, to this day she dosent actually know I caught her out, let alone that it was at the tender age of 6. The Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy, on the other hand, ALWAYS struck me as beyond rediculous.

Apparently I beleived it was possible to 'run out' of hugs if you gave more than you recieved. I'm informed I was really quite cute as a youngling - coulda fooled me.

I used to believe that if an old person touched you, you would turn old too -- my mopther used to work in a nursing home and used to being me there sometimes, and i always thought the old people would get out of bed and come after me and make me old too.

I also thought my Grandfather on my mother's side, worked in Hell. He actually worked in the middle of a huge garbage dump, and they were always buring off parts of it. We used to go visit him, and as we drove through the place to the center, you could see all the smoke and flames and smell weird smells from the burn off. It was very scary and i used to have nightmares about it.

A personally for me tremendous one I had was some people were born adults, while others the unfortunate lot, were born as children and would never grow up. Silly no?
Also an irrational fear if i didn't brush my teeth they would all fall out.
But I was just a kid then.
And also to mention the fear I believe every, kid, has because of parents " If you swallow chewing gum, it'll stay there for seven years!".
Utter rubbish, but as a kid quite a startling prospect.

I used to be afraid to drape my feet past the edge of my bed, because there was "something" beneath it. I had my parents fill underneath it with the remains of their old waterbed, so there was no room.
