Cell Phone Ringtones

I know this may be a wee bit dumb, but I thought, why not?
The topic is Cell Phone Ringtones. What is yours and why do you have it?

Simple Enough, right? Also, how do you feel about them in general? Start a discussion ....

The one I am currently using is Los Angeles Is Burning, by Bad Religion. I use this one because, well, I like the song. It also starts right in the middle of the chorus where it's nice and loud and can wake me if it rings. My GF hates it, but, we all make sacrifices.

I also use the theme song to Star Trek: The Next Generation. Its a simple MIDI one because so far I haven't found the MP3 version yet. Why? Because Star Trek is freaking awesome. Yeah.

You know what? The more I think about it, what the hell happened to the normal phone ring? Outside of work, I haven't heard it in the longest time.

Well this one's kinda ridiculous but funny. I don't have a cell phone, not yet at least. Anyways, my brother has the Razor and he loves it, but I'm not sure if anyone remembers that movie the Goonies, but the ringtone is form that. There's a song by Cindy Lauper called "Good Enough" they use it when they're tying up the older brother. Anyways that song was available to buy, so he did. So now I have to hear a song made for the Goonies all the time, haha he's nerdy, but I do find it very comical.

I "found" it when playing FF, I dont think I have composer but I have voice recorder and there wasn't really more to it than holding my cell in front of the speakers after I won a battle

I have several from games and some from LOTR (ents, orcs etc..talking)

There were a few "musical" ringtones on my phone when I got it -- the ones I use are "Ambient" and "Latin Loops". But I traded in the cell phone I originally got for a different one (same type) because the one I first got had something wrong with the internal reception. The one they gave me, though, had a "Brown Eyed Girl" ringtone on it already, so I use that for prettymuch every lady that calls me. Friends are "Ambient", family (and very close friends) are "Latin Loops" (as is my alarm), and ladies are "Brown Eyed Girl".

It says I can Shop Ringtones on my Cingular Phone but I'd rather upload an MP3 of a song I want to listen to rather than buy something thats "hot right now".

For now I just use a default ring tone called DAZED, it has a speedy flow to it and I like it. I like ringtones that get faster and faster, it's like rising pressure.

It's really all I ever use on this phone, but I generally use Vibration then ring, because with my loud music in the car it's easier to feel the ring then hear it.

I only bought a new cell/mobile phone a couple of weeks ago. It's a Samsung X640 and it has polyphonic ringtones. My current ringtone is just one I had on there when I bought it, it's called the 'Cat Dance'. It's really catchy! I get it stuck in my head everytime I hear it. I downloaded 'To Zanarkand' the other day and it sounds really nice on my phone. On my old phone, I had a few Guns n' Roses ringtones which was awesome. I had Paradise City, November Rain and Patience. I can't stand that Crazy Frog ringtone though, my cousin has it and it drives me insane. My new phone has some funny but catchy ringtones, it even has the wedding march lol.

It is named simply "ring ring" .........

...It's sort of a self-explanitory tone. Surprising, eh?

Am I the only one that truly hates ringtones?
I hate it when I'm on the train and some 14 year old lil trashwhore gets phoned and as loud as possible some random crappy rap song plays from the thing.
Mine vibrates..and I like it ^_~

I hate it when my phone rings.

Because I hate phones.

But I need mine because my mother and my sister call me a lot, so meh... It's always nice to hear from friends on it as well, but I usually just talk to my friends over the internet.

And yes... Vibrating is very... um. Fun.

JENOVA
The Chocobo theme
The battle fanfare

and a few more.

On my newest phone, i have:

Hell Awaits By Slayer

and The Undertaker entrance music from WWF/WWE, i use that all the time.

I have Kirby and Galaga theme on my phone. Both are pretty cool. The Galaga ringtone is awesome; it sounds like I'm actually playing the game XD

The vibration on my phone is good too ^_~ >__>

Erm...that is all; as for everything else, I hate it. Did I ever mention I hate Nokias? Yes, those phones I despise--I don't feel like listening to the entire convo! >_< But...that's another topic, heh.
