Anyway, I hate spiders, too. I like to kill them whenever I get the chance. In recent times, ther have been several cases of very large spiders being on the floor in my room and in the computer room. If they're especially big, it makes me feel sick to kill them, because it's almost like they're past the point of just being a bug, but are now also like some kind of miniature animal (which all bugs are, I guess, since they fall under the animalia kingdom, or however that's spelled) and I don't like killing animals, even if they are bastards. I mostly don't like spiders because I can't really keep track of where they're going to attack from; don't they have their fangs and a stinger, or something?

My sister is even more afraid of spiders, however. She has arachnophobia, or something, I think. She'll shriek, and be like "OH MY GOSH THERE'S A SPIDER!" and hide her face, or something. Then she'll call for someone to kill it for her.

My sister was also telling us recently of how she used to think there were crocodiles under her bed, and she'd jump to her bed to try to avoid them.

Spiders?! Spiders are awesome. They eat annoying bugs, they eay bugs, and they get rid of bugs in your house. Sure, some of 'em are deadly but the bug thing grants them total retribution.

Then there's ticks. Those blood sucking, disease carrying freakazoids that hang on your body for days before becoming a blood-filled wartlike being that drops onto your floor and then can't move so you step on them with bare feet and your very own precious blood is lost on the floor amidst bug guts and tiny baby ticks...AAAAAAHHHHHHH.

I hate my siblings for knowing this fact and filling my head with ideas of them being all over my bed or travelling through my arteries or that they'd attach themselves to your eyes...

Lots of people are scared of spiders then? I've actually never been scared of animals. I also keep tarantulas at home. My dad used to be scared of them, sohe bought a chilean rose tarantula to get over his fears... now we have 15 different species. Probably the most interesting is our cobalt blue. It's a beautiful metalic blue one, and we used to have a pink toed tarantula, which is fuzzy and black with pink toes and a metalic green irredesance.

Twenty years old, and I still do that. Not in public bathrooms or shower rooms or anything, but if the shower is close, like a normal bathroom, I have to check behind the curtain. I'm not really afraid, just uncomfortable...the bathroom is a place for comfort, it just ain't right.

haha dont worry about it. It was true and funny but i was about 3 or 4 at the time. Hey it still gives a shiver up my spine! haha!

anyway these silly childhood fears make us stronger in the longrun!

I think I remembered that I was scared of my sister because she's EVIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would always run to my mom when she does something EVIL to me.

It is not so much a childhood fear, but something recent. During college I get working on my computer, put on FF music and just go into the zone. And well one of the things I listen to is FFVIII music. So I am just working on my computer and enjoying the music, when suddenly I hear this eerie sound, like something out of a horror music. It is practically blood curdling. It's some woman's voice I hear and it sounds painful, so I take my headphones off and look around to try to listen for it. I do not hear it again, so I go back to work, by heart pounding almost. 30 minutes or an hour later, I hear it again and I am practically on the ceiling. I am looking all over and I hear it again, and I realize what it was, the stupid song, it was the song during the parade in Deling City. So now when I listen I either skip it or I am always on edge, because I have forgotten to skip it and I just jump to the ceiling nearly. Scares me senseless.

i was afraid of the toilet i thought that something would come out and grab me lol. i used to be afraid of whats under my bed and i alwasy made sure my closet was closed before i wet to sleep. i used to be afraid of the atic in my house i thought that something was up there. and i was afraid of basements for the same reason.

when I was 6 or 7 I was afraid of Vampires in my closet.... I don't know why but when I heared a car zooming by I thought it was an alian ship. Most of the things I was scared of those things now I just think they'e retarded I don't even know why I was scared of them

When i was lil, i hated to be in total darkness. I thought that hungery black panthers were inside my closet and that evil witches lived under my bed. I thought that assassins and killers hid in my very house and surrounded the outside of it. I feared that one day, my mother would take me to the orfinage and replace me with a girl thats name was similar to mine. At one time I also feared that my grandmother was ploting to murder me and my grandfather and replace us with mindless, killer clones.

Crap, it seemed like i was an idiot.

when i was a child i was terified of satans evil demons and spirits but i soon realized that they could not hurt me and so i moved on to a fear of clowns.........funny isnt it? i also used to fear the emperials in starwars a new hope untill i joined them muhaha mwuhahaha!
