Wow... this thread is pretty interesting. hehe.

Anyways, I chose the name Rain McCloud simply because it's the name of one of the main characters in a story I'm writing. For some here, they know it's also the name of a character in a game I hope to develop soon. Anyways... I use this name everywhere. heh.

Im pretty glad I made this thread....there are many names here ive been wondering on and on what means...so yeah i agree with you Rain it is pretty interresting.

EDIT:When I posted this I looked at my post and realeyased how boring my avatar is......

Yeah, this is a pretty interesting thread, it's been a while since I read every post before replying.

Hmm.. let's see here,

Well, when I first registered my username was Meliegent, It's the name of a small side character in the game "Brigandine", nobody has ever heard of that game.. but it's seriously the best game on ps1. You know it.

Then I switched it up to "Mr. Keen", 'cause I always used to say 'Keen', then I got banned for a bit.. (it was also DJ Keen for like a week)

But then I found out about http://www.homestarrunner.com and I was instantly hooked with Strong Bad, the coolest guy alive. That's how I'm now the SB man. Yup.

Mines' simple. People used to call me Chester coz a friend said I sounded like some famous dude name Chester -- then a friend said "why not call yourself Chez? it sounds more feminine" so that's where Chez orginates from. And Daja is my initials. (D.A.J) and instead of putting a G for my last initial, I put an A coz it sounded cuter then DAJG XD ... plus when I was younger I wrote a baddass story about a girl named Daja. I should re-read that someday ^_^...
Anyway, yeah. Thats my long boring story XD...

i joined when final fantasy IX came out. i had go to the black mage village and i decided to stop and go on the internet for a bit, i stumbled upon this place, and joined under the name 'the invincible' as in the airship. i couldn't find an avatar or picture of the invincible so i joined again as 'Bobby Corwen' the name the black mages give to the baby chocobo in their village. i thought it was a funny sounding name for a chocobo, and i found a really cute looking avatar to go with it.

and despite the fact that everyone here pretty much changes their avatar like every week mine stayed for over two years, and everyone recognised it, then when star wars episode II came out i saw the fight scene between count dooku (christopher lee best actor ever) and yoda, yoda was such a badass that i asked fuzz to change my name to 'Master Yoda' after a week or so i changed it back to 'Bobby Corwen' twas interesting for a while because everyone wanted to know who i was, suddenly someone appeared with over 2000 posts, it took awile before people guessed.

anyway, i've been bobby corwen ever since, i did want to change my name to Leviathan, because he is now my favourite summon, the name of my infernal name in the brotherhood of doom club and the name of my favourite song 'Leviathan' by Akercocke.

but some dumbass joined under leviathan and posted once.

thus i remain bobby corwen.

my avatar has long since gone, because i can't find it anymore. and i'm more evil than i used to be.

Its a long joke really.....
I actually still plan on changin back to Khorde....which I got when I was registering for a trial run of hte MMOFPS WW2: Online, I had the name Kottak Khorde, which in persian means someone who....well, just got hit...directly trnaslated it means Slap Eaten or smoething like that....and countless of reregistrations later due to errors, IT BECAME THE KHORDE

So it isnt Chord as some people think.....just a useless form of eaten in third person singular

I have no idea where I picked this name up. I first used it when I started Ragnarok Online and I made a Crit Sin. Alot of people thought it sounded clever and so I stuck with it. It was also funny because when people would talk to me in party's or in a Pm they usually cut off the last 3 letters. They weren't doing it to joke but I thought it was funny.

And also its kinda original. I have not had any problems using it wherever I go, influencing people all around the world.

I should start back on RO, I finally found a Zenny Knife and then I quit (That was one of my goals).

Ohh lolosky, do you have the one where "Everytime you masterbate, god kills a kitten"? That one's fun.

Telegraph is the name of a Chicago-based ska band from the 90's. I am not sure if they are around anymore, however. I only have one of their CD's, and it's of all their old stuff, from when they were called "The Schollars," or "Skallar," or something like that (I forget exactly what the spelling was-of their name, not the word.) For a long period of time, I wore a sweater with a big patch of theirs right between my shoulder blades, and I also thought the name sounded cool, so there you go.

Been thinking about changing my name, though, as per that name isn't really original... even though most people probably don't know it isn't. I have changed it, in the past, to "Uncle Tom." I didn't realize that had a racist background to it-I changed it to that because my name is Tom, and my brother's wife just had a baby-so when I found out, I changed it to "Tom." (Heh. I was in a chat one day, when Mydako came in and said "So YOU'RE the racist dude!" or something.) Then, it got changed back to "Telegraph," and some guy has now registered under the name "Tom" and has at least several hundred posts by now, so I don't think it will be changed back any time soon.

But anyway, if it is still an option, I might change my name to "Dragner Griffeene," because that is a really stupid name; a mispelling of the words "dragon" and "gryphon." It would make me chuckle, at the least, and nobody else. I would be entertained, though, and that's all that matters to me. Anyways...
