I've had using the same username since the first time I sign up for an email.
There's a band in our country named Alley Cats..I dun really like the band but as my nickname is elly..It won't hurt to use elly ketz..I dun like the name now..I thought TFF is just a boring forum so I use elly_ketz but i regretted now..I'm applying to change my username to kawaiinoshoujo

Mine is a rather easy one. At the time I made a username it was for yahoo, and on yahoo you had to have at least two names. With a dash or something of the nature to set you apart from the billions of users. I wanted something I could remember. I have always been known for my love of cheese. Hell, I used to sneak out of my room when I was little an sneak it from my dad's stash in the fridge. So that was the first step. The second was my love of the "other side". I always have felt that I was very in tuned to things...weird things. So I often wondered what would happened if I died an came back. What would I be? After some thought I realized that I would have to be an animal that was most like me. A fox was close, but really old sounding.....cheesefox...sounded like a video game. So I went with Vixen. Thus I have used it in nearly every forum or site I have ever been on. Kind of a long story, but the basis of it is. I love cheese, and if I was reincarnated I would become a female fox .

I suppose I can explain mine. Well, my first username was 'Strife.' This one is fairly simple; I liked Cloud from FFVII, but I also liked the idea of having a username that was more of an emotion/concept rather than a physical object.

My current username, Mr. Domino, was from an old ad. I saw in the back of a gaming magazine. Believe it or not, it was not an ad for the old PS1 game, No One Can Stop Mr. Domino, but it used that exact same phrase. It had some person standing in the middle of a busy street, in a black suit and hat (think a hat like in an old gangster movie), wearing one of those double over the shoulder signs with the phrase 'no one can stop Mr. Domino.' Maybe I can find the magazine and throw a scan up here for you guys. Anyway, I was (and still am) into FPS games at the time, and being of above average skill, wanted a name that said that. This one was great, because only a select few might understand it. The other reason I chose it is because it was not in use. I was in a lot of forums, and I had never seen this name, anywhere. So, I decided to claim it as my own. Unfortunately, it wasn't long before I saw my name start popping up other places, so I now sometimes go by 'TheMrDomino' (pronounced thee, not the).

So, to anyone who made it through my little dissertation there, that's the story behind Mr. Domino.

lol. Casanova[OCAU].. this is pretty much my gaming tag i spose. Casanova is the nickname given to be by a few friends when they decided that shouting out 'hey he-slut' across the road wasnt the most.. subtle way of attracting attention :S

OCAU is another forum I am a member of.

I chose mine because i wanted to be really unique. no one really knows how materia is created so I thought it was cool. saying that i made it

I chose this username because Dimmu Borgir is my favoritest band ever. Simple as that.

[GRIM REAPER]

This nick goes with me for whatever I do online. It wasn't chosen by me but given to me by my friends in high school. Before school and during lunch we would go and play Half Life in the computer lab and have a frag fest. We got together one day and gave each other nicks to use as names on the game. everyone decided what the other person would be called depending on how we played and acted around school. They gave me Grim Reaper.

Ever sence then i took this name and used it for everything, email, forums, and other forms that required a username. Here on TFF I put it in all caps to stand out.

I picked maxpower because I like how it sounds. Also it is easy to identify me because you can just say Max which is way easier than saying things like hey spork-loving-fiend. Also I always laugh at the Simpsons episode where homer changed his name to max power. Not to mention the max power song.

And mostly he takes control so whatever I do (sometimes,and thats bad) I cant remember.

OmniTense was a derogatory remark once made to me in reference to this work I had written. Little did my Critic know, it was intentional. So, in his eagerness to be loved, all he did was embarrass himself and inspire a Username.

I used, what I deemed to be, a clever neologism put to poor use, and twisted it to make it mean what I wanted. "I am, I was and I will be."

Truer words have never been said. But alas, my username hath been changed back to it's darker roots.

The name was an eidetic choice yawning from the Precambrian unaware rendition of me. It was one of my spelling words from homeschooling as a child that I became infatuated with at the age of six. I had trouble spelling it, the story goes, so my father worked and worked and eventually got me to spell it out with green/bluish finger paint on my door.

It became a tradition to have the word on my door. Which I eventually carved it in the wood.

Was how I worked it out.

When I would get angry, my dad began to refer to me as Sinister, calling it my "Animus". when I first joined a forum I stuck a picture of Sephiroth and combined it with the name Sinister.

[Tiger Lily]

Tiger Lily was the name of a character (an asian girl) in a children's book I used to love. My father told me that when I saw a Chinese girl in the park when I was little, I yelled "It's Tiger Lily!" And I remembered it when I was on another forum and changed my username. It's been my nick on all forums since, although now it sounds a little juvenile. (I was 13 when I started using it). But it seems to have stuck, and I'm recognized as Tiger Lily or Lily on every forum I'm on, so it's a little late to change, I guess. I suppose I shall just have to put up with how little-girlish it sounds and get over it. At least I know who people are talking about - it's not exactly a common name, now, is it?
I've also been Raine, firstly because I've always liked it, and secondly because she featured in FFVIII. But I didn't like it much, and Lily was already stuck. So I switched back. ^^
