It's free online for download. It' helps you learn how to play the songs you like. All you have to do is download MIDI files of the songs, and you can learn to play them. I just got it. I needed help on some things though.

I know this thread's a bit old but I just wanted to bump it up and reiterate what has been said many times, you are a wonderful pianist.

I've always held the opinion that everyone should learn how to play at least one instrument. I tried violin and failed miserably. =X But then, I was very young...I'd like to try something else someday. My grandmother is a professional piano player (well, was...she's retired now) and I loved watching her play. I love the music but I just don't think I'm classy enough to play such a fine instrument, heh.

indeed everyone should tease out their musical no matter how simple it is. don't think about piano as "for the classy" just think of it as "a different way to express", of which you may find a way to share in it.

I can't be arsed to try one on the guitar, since it would just be plain chords (only 1 hand you know...) and it wouldn't quite suit the FF atmosphere.

i also play the guitar but i must disagree with your post. it is very possible to catch the mood/atmosphere with a guitar. the catch is you must be very good.

Sorry for the absence. Been occupied with IRL stuff and have been taking a break from piano that I just can't seem to come back from. I've been listening through my 8000+ song library so perhaps I'm merely recharging for when I get back to playing

I must say that every time I click on this thread and see something new I am astounded at what I hear.

Not sure if my post on youtube went through or not but I must say that I am glad taht even in your hiatus you took the time to make this one peice. Beautiful isnt nearly a perfect word to describe your tallents.

nice to know I haven't lost "it" while taking these breaks ^^; I felt like crap playing it but I guess it's just the perfectionist-OCD in me
