Official Hyadain Thread of Awesome Old School VG Music

So, I figured this guy deserves a thread detailing his work.

Latest Remix (11-30-08)
Chocobo!!!

Who is Hyadain?

Hyadain is a Japanese fellow who takes classic video game songs (generally from NES and SNES games) and arranges them into full fledged, whimsical musical numbers, a unique twist amongst all the remixes you can find on OCR and VGMix. Another quirk to his works is that his tracks consist of multiple vocals (including female) that he records all by himself and uses vocal software to tweak it. He's gotten to be quite the internet celebrity both on Nico Video and Youtube (#5 Most Subscribed Musician/#25 Most Subscribed All Time)

Siliconera also posted an interview with him a while back.

Where can I find his work?
Right here!

Translations/Fan-made Supplement versions
While the music in his pieces are very catchy, you're missing a good chunk of the humor in his songs by not understanding the "Weird Al-esque" lyrics. Hyadain has amassed quite the fanbase. These devoted fans end up providing not only English translations, but offering their own supplementary artwork/animation, since the visuals in a lot of Hyadain's videos (especially his early works) are severely lacking in comparison to the robust audio presentation. So here's a list of noteworthy alternate versions and Translations:

SF2: The World Warrior (English Subs)
MM2: CRASH!! (Let's do it) (English subs)
Dr. Mario: My First Friend (English Subs)
DQ4: Hyadain's Royal Straight Flush(with English sub and more)
FF6: Coin of Destiny (not subbed, lyrics in description)
MM2: Hyadain - Metal Man, Made Of Metal (English Subtitles)
Megaman 2 - Quick!!!
Hyadain - Ganbare Goemon, Goemon (English Subtitles)
FF4, Appearance of Golbez's Four Lords of the Elements
Western Show on Super Mario World
MM2: Hyadain - Flash Man, Flash! (English Subtitles)
FF6 Hyadain - Terra's theme (Alternate Fanart Version)
(Hyadain) FF6 Sabin Raps - The Coin of Destiny (Not subbed Fan Art version)
(Hyadain) FF6 Sabin Raps - Castle Figaro [FULL ver.] (Another Fanart version
FF6 Hyadain - Terra's theme (Alternate Fanart)
***
Chrono Trigger - Silbird/Epoch (Fanmade AMV with Subs)
DQIV: Feelings for Cynthia (Fan Animation with Subs)
DQIV: The Musical! Chapter 2 (Fan Animation with Subs)
DQIII: In a Cave (Fan Animation with Subs)
Konami Wai Wai World Medley (Subbed)
Earthbound (Subbed)

So, feel free to post favorites, comments, videos I might've missed, etc. I'll be updating this thread with his latest music track.

I would recommend My First Friend (Get ready to cry), FF4 The Four Fiends, METAL!, and Gambare Goemon now that it's translated as a first view of his stuff.

I have to say, Cain... I love you for introducing me to these. Some made me get teary eyed and some made me laugh. I loved the FF4 Four Lords of the Elements video, the Rockman/Megaman videos, and the Mother 2 video.

Of course, now I want to play Final Chrono Mega Bound Man Fantasy 645 .

Hyadain is pretty good. I started listening to his remixes awhile ago and I check his youtube channel frequently to see if he has a new video. I don't like the latest one, but most of the others are good. I still have trouble believing that all of the voices are his.

Cain, you are a genius! Thank you so much for linking us to these great vids.

The Royal Flush vid is hilarious! I'll have to take the time to watch more of these later!

Latest Work posted, also found some new (long awaited) translations added to the first post.

I find it hilarious that his Torneko sounds like The Swedish Chef from the Muppets.

Latest work posted. I'm surprised he didn't title it "Hyadain de Chocobo"

Also he seems to be doing a Top 50 Retro Countdown series, as he has a video starting with 50,49,48, and 47 here:

YouTube - Retro Game50 #50-#47

But they seem to be obscure Anime based games.
