Maybe someone can help me on here. A few years ago, I downloaded the Final Fantasy 7 soundtrack and there was a random extra song included. I hadn't had it for long when I lost loads of files on the computer, including that soundtrack, and I couldn't remember the name of the song! I've been trying to find out the song title ever since as it was such a good song, but it's as though it doesn't exist. It may have been a remix, it was the main Final Fantasy theme song (obviously closest to that in FF7), but it was sung by a choir. No lyrics and possibly no instruments, just basic but amazing choir singing, to the tune of Final Fantasy. Any ideas what it could have been???

115 | Very true it must have been a bonus song. I wish i could provide more detail... Think of the song playing when FF7 is loading, it's before the main screen (with 'new game' and 'load game'). It's that exact tune but vocal rather than played by any instruments.

479 | Have you had a look on limewire stuff like that?? I had a look for the song your talking about on limewire and came up with quite a fair few different songs from FF7 but all i could find on the main theme has "(piano)" after the title of the song. If youve not tried limewire it could be worth a look, i mighta missed it if it was there.

479 | Well done cain lol, i kept seeing somthing titled "prelude (rare)" but i couldnt download it cos didnt have enough sources, so i wernt able to hear it from limewire  It sounds lovely tho, gotta download that one

5,457 | Well, still gotta wait for Dead Angel to come in and confirm. I'm a huge fan of the old school vocal collections by Risa Ohki. I still have my copy of FF Pray (although I found out a couple years ago that it's bootleg ) In these days of Real Emotion, Eyes on Me, and Melodies of Life, Risa Ohki's stuff which are vocal songs based off FFI-VI has been kinda obscure and forgotten, which is a real shame. Even now I feel like a lot of her songs tower above recent FF Theme Songs.A lot of people playing FFIII DS probably don't even know of the vocal FFIII theme that SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE GAME: YouTube - Final Fantasy: Pray - Once You Meet Her (FFIII "Elia") Anyway, yeah I remember back in the day, one of the popular MP3s in circulation was "Final Fantasy by Enya" Which was really this song. There was some urban myth that the vocalist (limited to oohs and ahhs) and main arranger for Celtic Moon, Maire Breatnach, was Enya's sister or cousin or something. | ||||||||

936 | What I would do i would look up the album on amazon or somewhere it usually lists the tracks and if theres a bonus track it will say it too and you can usually listen to a clip of the song as well. Good luck.
