Hey all, rather simple question out of all the first 12 FF games ( including spin-offs, and extra's like Tactics) what were your favorite Battle and Boss themes? And Why? Mine? Well my favorite Boss theme was FFV's Boss Battle with Exdeath, and the Last Boss theme with Neo Exdeath. Both of those themes had lots "power" in them just gets me psyched whenever I hear it, or when I play the game. My favorite Battle theme was from FFVI. I liked the SNES and the PSX versions better then the GBA remixed versions, the battle theme in FFVI: Advance was kinda butchered with more bass volumes. FFVI's battle theme was hardcore with lots of energy that makes me feel glad to get into random battles lol. On a side note I also liked FFI's "Inside a Boss Battle" theme, the one when you fight Garland and other bosses like Astos, it rocked, very classic cool
 . Now those are my favorites, what are yours?

well, to start, i liked the final bass theme to FFXII, not Revenant wings, the final boos was weak, the battle music for VII was grate, relly pumped me up, the battle music for Xi was cool , and i loved the fight song for IX, and VIII, I and II had good boss music aswell, i looked forward to battles just to hear the music, i keep my headphones in my DS, lol, Dawn of souls had the best boos music, nothing beats it!

The best battle and boss theme music in any Final Fantasy game is Final Fantasy VIII, the music is great and matches the game really well, my second favorite Final Fantasy battle and boss theme music is Final Fantasy X.

The battle music is what makes the Final Fantasy games and for sure the Boss theme is something you remember a lot. Hard to pick one out of them but I would say the remake of "Fight with Seymour" (FFX) by the Black Mages will bring you right back there all the time.

I definetly label the final boss theme of FF6 a classic! Especialy the Black Mages Version
 But alas, my favorite would be FF8. I'll remember that final boss for a long time! I was thinking like when will she die already TENSE! And realy liked the final form!As for others...I realy like The "Clash on the big bridge" or "Fight with Gilgamesh" as it is also caled.
