Hey dudes what do you all thing of the black mages final fantasy music,
i think they are great, they did greta with the FF battle music and i loved the mod version of festival of the hunt  .

Uematsu is a musical genius and his creating his own band seems like a logical enough step to me. Whats the point of everyone liking your stuff if you can't be up on stage to hear the cheering first hand?
Having said which I enjoyed the first album they released as opposed to their second album. Though they branched out a little in the second album, instead of just doing battle themes, it seemed ot lack the same punch the first one had. Eh well.

Simply put, the man is a genius. There is no other way to put it.
As far as the Black Mages go. They rock my freaking socks off. Between them and the Minibosses, you have an abundance of great Old Skool music to enjoy. Dancing Mad is still great after hearing it 1000000 times.

The Black Mages are incredible, I have all there songs on my Computer and listen to them all the time. They make great music.

I love the Black Mages!
When I bought the first CD I couldn't take it out of my cd player. Loved all the rocked out battle tunes. Second CD wasn't as great but still was good and glad I picked it up. I hope they do a thrid album. |
