which system had better FF games

For me it's a tie between ps and ps2. I love ffx and ffxii, but ff7, ff8, and ff9 all have credit as well. My love for ff10 won out though so lol, yeah. If it had been for some of the earlier systems, I might have chosen snes(since that is where I have the roms for the rest of the ff games, among others lol).

PS1 all the way. It had FFVII and VIII: My too most favourite games ever lol

I do like FFX, but then it had the terrible fate of having FFXII brought upon it XP

The only other one I can think of then is the GBA as it had Tactics Advance on it and I did LOVE that game...*Needs to get TA2 for the DS* Oo;;;

For me it's a tie between the PS1 and 2 - FF7 being my favorite game ever! and FFX being one of the best games created for the PS2.

Yup. Also a tie between the PS1 and PS2. They both have such great games! But I think I might have to give it up for the PS1. It really did it for me when I needed to kill something evil with a giant sword and save the world. =P

The regular PS had better Final Fantasy then any system in my opinion. All three of them were good and there wasn't a part in VII, VII, or IX that I didn't enjoy. I still never get bored of them until this day.

I think I Like the games they had on PS2.. FFX, X-2 and XII..

Definately, the psx had better ff games...no contest seriously...the ones that said ps2 is probably because they are the younger generation and were too young when ff7 came out

For me it comes down to the Snes or the playstation 1, but since all the final fantasy Snes games were later released on the PS1, theres only one winner.........

My favourites just happen to be 7, 8 and 9 so I would say PS1. It was what started me on FF. I got given 8 about 9 years ago, and I instantly loved it. It was the first RPG I had ever played (I wasn't a huge gamer, until then ), which made me instantly want 7, and then I bought 9 when it came out.

PS2 was OK, but I'm not a massive fan of X-2's gameplay (completing all the missions absolutly do my head in).

Definately playstation 1 as that has VIII (my favourite) & VII! That`s where it all started for me so I will always have that. PS2 follows with X, X-2, & XII. But I will be buying a PS3 soon enough intime for XIII!
