We have a sig limitaion on pictures and it is preset into the forum coding. Also there is a size limitation as to how big a signature can be. Pretty much if it takes up 75% of your screen then it is to big. Is there really a point in having a super hug sig (directed at everyone)?

If your using a 2046x1536 size screen, it doesn't take up 75% of your screen.

Well unfortunately for you, not everyone has a screen that big. The web standard is still 1024x768, so we go off of that.

Just because it doesn't take up your screen, doesn't mean it doesn't take up everyone else's.

Except that 2046x1536 is not a commonly used resolution. We fit to the lower common denominator. Which I think is still about 1024x768 or a little larger. People are getting larger these days, but we keep a smaller end of the scale. I judge by my old laptop's screen size which is 1024. If it fills the browser window its too large.

My question is still, why do you need a sig that big? What is the point in it? I would truely like to know the awnser and no I am not trying to be a smart ass. There needs to be some kind of justification to a request besides "I just want it."

In all honesty how many times do you think someone is going to even look at something that massive. Now adays I don't even look at half or the peoples sigs unless something catches my eye or I have to give 2 full mouse scrolls just to make it though someones signature and the sad thing is Ragna is right most people don't even make posts that are bigger then their signatures. And around here it seems like the bigger the signature the shorter the post.

Heck there are times I look at mine and I think to myself that my sig is to big.
