TFF make over??

Not that I have a problem with the way it looks, but I see people complaining about how the forum is dead/dying and what not. I remember when I first found this forum, it was while I was looking for a little game help. I saw TFF clock on the main page which got me interested, and then I went to the forums page and thought that the HP, MP, EXP thing was pretty cool so I joined. Also the profile pages are were legit. Why not change the appearance a little to maybe attract more members? Besides, TFF is third when you google FF forums so it's not hard to find. Maybe just a little boost?

Besides this forum has pretty much everything to me topic wise.

What do you think?

I actually wouldn't mind a few new Themes. Change things up a bit, keep it fresh, etc.

I'm Kinda a new so i can't really complain, However a change to the profile pages would be nice, like more fonts or theme/layout of your profile.

It's been this way for a while,yes. But if you look at the very bottom left side of any page, you can change the theme from the white/blue to the darker version. If you didn't know about this before, it may be something to check out.

yes, I knew the page themes and colors were there but I mean maybe the overall look of the site can change a little. Maybe, just something that crossed my mind. I honestly don't know why the forum might not be as active as before. Maybe people just aren't that into forums that much anymore. I looked at the "most members ever online" and I think it was 745 (!!!) in '06 only a few years ago...

Just a suggestion.

i too have not been here long but i think it would be a great way to get more people to come to this site. we should host more compititions and contests and stuff to get people interested and for them to know this is more then just a forum

Good call here. I'll install a new theme and maybe make a few adjustments. Actually, i just made 'TFF Dark' the default theme, so that is what guests will see... it was set at 'TFF Light'... Who knows what type of impact that will have.

I've been really playing on the main site and cleaning things up. The main site is over-due for some design changes, as well, so during these new content/section updates, I am working on adding the new layout/design changes in parallel.

All work in progress, but I now see more of an urgency. TFF is getting some nice exposure on Google for some very good keywords., so we should capitalize.

The dark theme looks so much better in my opinion. But some skins would be good as well!
Maybe a light Blue theme? like the early FF menus?
Just a thought. and I've not been here long but I dont think your having 'Trouble' as such, theres always plenty to do when i sign on!

The only themes currently availible from my PC are TFFlight and TFFdark. Both of which have been around since I joined and I am sure they have been around longer then that.

If I have missed something let me know.

No I don't think you have missed anything, all thats happened is that Fuzz has set TFFDark to the default theme.

Uhh...didn't someone a while back (Probably a long time ago) have some skins designed for the forum? I remember seeing them and thought they looked pretty cool and suited the forum well. I just can't remember who it is though. Shit.

Actualy I think there where 5 at one point but with the forum upgrades only 2 where moved over. But as far as I know TFF Dark has been the preset theme for a while now.

Personally I love TFF dark, it is alot easier on my already sensitive eyes, the only thing I could see would be a banner change or something like that for it. Then again after glancing at that again I think it is good enough seeing that it is for the newer games that are coming out.
