I noticed along while ago that there was a place to put your Xbox Live Gamertag in your profile. I have an Xbox 360 in my house, but it belongs to my brother so putting his ID on here would be out of the question.

BUT, can there be an option for us to put on a PS3 Username, so that the people in the forums know who we are when we are online too? There are PS3 owners here as well as Xbox owners.

I don't know if I'm missing something about maybe the Xbox ID linking to TFF, so I'm sorry if there is something special about putting the tag on here...

But I'm sure there's an addon somewhere for PS3 Tags as well.

Why don't your answers ever help? I'm sure s/he knows how to type in a signature.

There should be a PS3 one as well, assuming one exists. The 360 is far more popular, so there may not be a PS3 one, but if one exists it seems silly not to add it. Hell, add the Wii one as well assuming the ungodly length of their user tags can fit.

But really, the reason the PSN tag box hasn't been added to the forum is because no one has developed one yet. It could be as simple as adding a basic box to the profile field, but if you want it to do something fancy, it'll need some work done to it.

I'll see if I can find/create something.

So does the Xbox one do something special? I just thought it was a text box you use to just put a name in so that when fellow forum members check your profile, they know who you are on Xbox LIVE. I'm tempted to put my brothers one in to see what it does... 0_0

If you are unable to make one Loco, then don't worry about it - I could put mine in my sig, but the idea that it might make more sence to put it in the profile crossed my mind. It was just an idea afterall. If you are able to do it though, then thankies!

I -think- it used to do something special, but then we found giant security holes in the program and I'm pretty sure it's nothing more than a profile field now. I wasn't able to find anything fancy about it.

There used to be an 'addon' that had a small 'database' of XBL people. It had the games they played, achievements for said games, etc.

Turns out, as Cesar said, the program was a giant security hole. So Fuzz removed it (or.. was it Merlin? One of the two.) and now it's just a plain ol' text field.

In that aspect, it should be pretty easy to make a generic text field for PSN tags. (At least, I would think so. I doubt it, though.)
