Geez this sounds familiar to a suggestion that i made in Tff council very very similar and seemed to be put down and shunned but hey glad to see it up and running.

If I recall correctly, that suggestion involved making a TFF Council thing on Facebook. People would be obliged to join to be able to participate in the discussions going on there, so it didn't seem like a great idea. Keeping the council on TFF is the way to go.

Even though it doens't have a true purpose yet I am still going to encourage people to join. So far there has been a couple discussions and it kind of makes the people that post on this forum seem more real seeing you can learn a little about them.

Seeing everyones names is a bit weird and calling them that is even more odd haha.

...Facebook didn't make FF in there. Fuzz made a usergroup in facebook for our website. ^^;

But yes, I joined the group. It's nice that we're branching out and kind of advertising the site.

I'm liking it too, and it's a good way to show friends what we get up to, hence maybe getting a few new members. It could work like that. ^^;

Actually no it had nothing to do with the council being on FB my idea was exactly what has been done here because my example was of another forum who have done exactly the same thing which is where i got the idea from so no your are not correct and maybe you should look back and read it more thoroughly, but nonetheless it is good that it has been done although i haven't had a chance to have a look but from past experiences the other forum that i am a part of that share this idea the activity on the facebook group has been rather slow and this forum i speak of has thousands of members on facebook and it very rarely gets used but in time we will see.

Well at the moment, there is no real purpose but to meet and greet the people behind the user names, and discuss things with them over there in a non-TFF environment. I guess eventually, it will build up more uses as more people join and use it. =]

It's a great way to get to know most of the TFFers on a personal level. Well, maybe not too personal, but just enough to be familiar with one another.

Maybe even become a stalker to one of them, haha.

No offence but; what? The last sentence made literally no sence. Does it mean, if you use the group on facebook that you should get gil here at TFF? As of now the group on Facebook is a promotional item for TFF. Also it lets TFFers have a less formal means of communication.

It is not directly linked this site, so giving gil for what you do on facebook can't be done, unless one of the admins or Fuzz actually wants to monitor activity off on the group and award acordingly. This is not an option in my opinion seeing that would take alot of time and dedication to something that is not the actual forum itself.

haha i agree, sorry i guess you could call me greedy or an entrepenuer im always trying to make money... but anyway its a great way to propmote the site anyway. i have a ton of friends who love ff and i just need to reffer them for them to join. this is the best ff site ever
