yes i like this i idea and i cant wait for the store.

in the store u should be able to buy levels avatars and pics for ur sig that would be really cool at least thats what i think.

Is anyone actually working on the store? Because I almost got 10 grand, but nowhere to spend it. It wouldbe really nice to buy little things that make TFF a bit more interactive

The store is still under construction by the VB team. I check the status of it every other day, but it is moving along slowly, slow slow that a coalition has been formed to help PAY the developers that are working on it to motivate them more.

It is probably the single most demanded hack/addition for the vbulletin 3.5 and it is still unavailable.

All I can say is keep earning your gold and I promise you will be able to spend them sooner than later. Many people I know have turned off the cash/gold option until they have the store implemented. But I thought it would be better to earn gold even before the store is even open. I will be sure to post an update and announce the release of the store, hopefully it will be around christmas.

Yes, I see how many would start participating in posting a lot more. But tell me...will we be able to do anything with the items we buy?? Because to me it sounds pointless if it can't be used for something....just another thing to take up space. Once you get it...that's it. End of the 'cool' line, ya know? I think people will eventually get tired of collecting items, and not care too much about points as a lot have already. Without a long-term purpose, what's the point?

...to the point, once again, you're thinking of the wrong kind of store. Not the RPG-esque item shop that TFF had three years ago, but the vB shop that TFF had up until about a year ago. You know, the one where you can change peoples' titles, change your username, add glow, and other such things?

Fuzz also had mentioned at one point (not in this particular thread) that points can be spent on the site as well, via advertising and such. We haven't actually put that together yet, but it'll be like having a banner advertising X member's website or whatever it is that s/he spends the points to advertise for.

If you look at the "What are points?" question through the main site, it explains the stuff in a bit more detail.

Ahhh....I forgot all about that! I remember people changing my sig to really rude things and got all ticked off about it....probably left again too...lol. too easy to change back though.

Yeah, I was thinking a shop like...with pizzas and other non-FF items...lol....silly me. I'm tired. Forgot all about that other store.
